Kal Group Painting and Drywall

Let me start by saying I am very particular when it comes to my historic bungalow (and the work performed on it) and went through an exhausting process of getting bids and interviewing painters to paint the exterior of my home. After deciding on KAL Group, Rich (and his employees) exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail and quality of work performed was awesome. They took the time required to make sure the job was done right and did not rush the work involved. For the amount staff hours spent on my home and quality of work, I felt the bid price was very fair. My home looks great and I would not hesitate to hire again (but likely will not need to… at least for the outside of my home).

Eric did a fabulous job. He is very neat, punctual, polite and very skilled. The work involved cleaning, sanding, priming and applying two coats on the ceiling, walls, windows, doors and cupboards using three different colors. There were a few minor problems which they immediately remedied, and we would definitely hire them again. It took about 4 days, but it was well worth the wait, as it was a very professional job.

Israel did an excellent job of scraping and repairing the damaged spanish plaster - great job of matching to the non-damaged surface. Both rooms were then painted same color as before and look wonderful. He did an excellent job of cleaning up the rooms.

Fantastic experience with Rich & Kimberly in every sense. Being late in the season for exterior work, we were reaching out to just about every paint contractor we could to finish this small of a job. Most contractors wouldn't even consider coming out for an estimate based on the size of the job or just being booked solid the rest of the season, but Rich came out two days after we contacted him (on a Tuesday). Met us at our house, gave us a free estimate which we agreed to and said he could have the project done by the weekend. Sure enough, Saturday rolls around and he shows up to take care of half the project and returns at the same time Sunday to finish it up! Everything looks great and he was very courteous and mindful of our property/yard throughout. Will be hiring them again for a small interior job this winter!

They do an excellent job! They have skilled painter. The show up, finish the job and the owner walks through the job. They fix any issues immediately. They were very meticulous and it looks great!

Slow.   Took longer than needed because this job appeared to be not a priority.  Communication with company difficult.  Also, workmanship not what I would expect or accept  if I had to pay for it.

Rich and KAL did a great job - they worked directly with our new window installers on timing, prepping and painting of over 27 new windows and storms as well as scrape and re-paint all the wood trim outside of the house. They caulked and did minor carpentry as needed. With all the work that was completed, the price was right.

They were great to work with and I would use them again.

While the company can be a little slow in getting out estimates, once we were on their calendar, everything went very well. They came out and cleaned the basement floor, which had suffered through two rounds of water and two rounds of construction. Then they came back a few days later (when everything was dry) and painted the walls and floor, including oil base paint on the floor. They had good recommendations for type of paint and for color.

I have had them come here a couple of times. They do very good work. We got an older house with some peculiar areas. Things that happen here don't necessarily happen in all the places. I can fault them for this.

They had delays due to a rainy fall, but once they started they worked on it through to the finish. They are responsive to questions, concerns and very conscietiuous about leaving the worksite clean and organized every evening. It was a great experience, and I'd use them again without hesitation.
