It was a long process, and John spent many many afternoons poking through old basements and attics with us. When we got frustrated John encouraged us that it would just take time, and although it would have made his life easier, he never tried to push us towards houses that were bad ideas. He was looking for the right deal, not the quickest, and I think we came out pretty well. John enjoys the these old houses, and if I were shopping for one, I can't think of how he could have be better suited to the search. Since closing, we have continued to call John occasionally to get opinions on work we're doing, and John has remained interested in the project and very helpful with information and opinions. When it's time to move, John will definitely be at the top of the list to sell the house.
