They matched the stain very well. It took about a day and it looks great. The paint they mixed were antique colors that another paint store had quit making long ago. They called the main office and got the color formula and mixed two quarts. It seemed like it would have been a pain but they were very cordial and helpful. The only bad part of the experience is that they didn't mix the colors in the sheens I requested, which was bad, but I'm sure they would have replaced the quarts if I would have mentioned it.

I think that Benjamin Moore is some of the best paint ever made. However, Ralph Lauren has some of the best colors. When I found a color I liked for my new dining room, it was a Ralph Lauren color. Why can't I have the best of both worlds? I contacted JC'S Licht to see if they could mix the RL color in a Benjamin Moore base. They keep some formulas on file, but for this formula they didn't have a formula, so they couldn't guarantee its accuracy. Too bad, I had to buy it from Home Depot. Turned out nice, but I know it would have turned out even NICER with Benjamin Moore Paint. JC Licht was very helpful and I will definitely from them in the future. I am giving their responsiveness a "B", just because their hours are not very convenient for a non-professional. I suppose it is the price you pay for quality.
