INDOOR AIR QUALITY DIAGNOSTICS INC

Well after not knowing any better I removed some 9"x9" vinyl tiles and black mastic from my basement Cement floor and didn't take any safety precautionary measures. After doing some investigation after the fact I found out that the tiles and mastic most likely contained asbestos. Being that I have a 9 year old and a 5 month old in the house I became concerned of possibly asbestos being in the air of my home. I called numerous places to get some help and nobody either answered the phone or everyone said they were to busy for the next couple of weeks to come to my house to test the air. I was finally referred to Bret at IAQ Diagnostics and I spoke to him over the phone and told him my concerns. He was very helpful over the phone and described everything his air quality test consisted of and the price. The price was a little pricey but being I had a 5 month old in the house I rather be safe than sorry and wanted peace of mind. Brett came over the next day on time as planned and was very polite and explained his testing process again. He ran a testing machine for two hours and then went back to his lab to get the results. He called me a couple hours later with my results which came back with the results I wanted to hear. Brett also emailed me a detailed report with all his State of WI licensing information so I could keep for my records. I would highly recommend IAQ Diagnostics.

I thought he could have tested more areas than he did (window and door frames, more than one spot in the wall, etc). I appreciated his honesty about not being able to find the problem. And he did lower the price. Still, it was money wasted for me.

Overall I was very satisfied with the expertise, responsiveness, and quality of the work. There were some minor issues with the written report that were corrected within 24 hours.

Adam is a microbiologist. He was very knowledgeable and professional & very thorough. I consulted him about air quality concerns in the home. He flagged potential problems in my home. He came out a second time and did the actual mold testing. After he got back the results he then forwarded them to me. We had spent a lot of time talking over the phone beforehand. He was patient and so knowledgeable on different things. It was just so incredible that one person would have that much knowledgeable. I would absolutely use him again.
