HYBRID LANDSCAPING DESIGN

I was extremely disappointed. Upon receiving an initial quote, I was confident in the owner, Todds, and his ability to complete the work requested and his knowledge of landscaping. However, upon agreeing on the having the work completed by his company, the experience changed dramatically. Todd delayed the beginning of the work, due to a family emergency, which I understood initially, until his not showing up to complete any work became the rule,rather than the exception. I made several attempts to reach out to him and would take several attempts each time just to reach him, only to receive another excuse as to why the work was not being completed as promised. I, of course, undestood when rain was a delaying factor, but when no effort was made to reschedule any time the promised work was not completed in the promised time frame, I finally reached out again (and again and again) in August to state that his services (or lack of services) would no longer be necessary or welcome and to please send an invoice for the services he did complete. It was not until January that I finally received an invoice which exceeded the initial quote by approximately $300+. I sent a copy of the initial quote provided and a letter disputing the additional charges and a check for the amount of the initial quote, even though not all the work had been completed. There has been no communication from the owner and the check still hasn't been cashed. I would not recommend hybrid lawn services to anyone as it has been nothing but a thorn in my side and the work that was 'completed' was substandard at best.

After 1-2 times, the trimming and clean up part of agreement stopped being performed. Also had to call a few times to see if grass was going to be cut because it was getting too long between visits. Never heard anything back from Todd about any of our other requests for work I received first billing for lawn work in early August and was surprised to see Todd added $3/per cut to cost for item listed as gas “sir charge”. This added fee had never been discussed or agreed to when hired. Certainly misleading about cost of service. Also added sales tax (which is included in Naturescape pricing). Was now paying over $43 per visit ($5 more per visit than prior service). Invoice also listed a date for service I know Hybrid did not cut lawn as I was having trees planted and some of the landscape work done by another company. Paid invoice in full in early August ($390 aprox.) even though incorrect billing and added fees that were never agreed too. Raised issue about added charges and billing error and never heard anything back except to get another bill in September for another $38 plus a now newly labeled “gas & office sir charge” of $3. When discussing issues, all he wants to do is argue. Very unprofessional and rude. Would never recommend or hire again.
