Excellent! They were custom built based on what I described. They cleaned up all the messes that they made. They took a couple of weeks which worked with my schedule.

We contacted Hometown Building to discuss converting our 3 season room, that was also having foundation settling problems, to a 4 season room. Matt came out several times to discuss options and to give us an estimate. We decided to go ahead with one of his proposals. Since we were having helical piers installed by another contractor, Hometown arrived a couple of days prior to the foundation work, to remove the old windows and doors. After the piers were installed, Kevin and Jerome from Hometown returned the following day to continue with the work which was completed in 3 days. They were very helpful, kept us informed, and discussed alternatives as situations arose during the construction. We were also very pleased with the repairs they made to the front porch of our house. The experience was very good and we would certainly contact Hometown for any future work.

They originally built our porch about twenty years ago. It was very well-built. They returned this year to fix it, as it had started to slant.

I thought they did really good work. Overall, the job was good. However, there were some discrepancies on the addition that we weren't really pleased about. The owner told us that we didn't need a sump pump, but we got flooded out a couple times, so we should've had one in there.

I appreciated that when they would leave each day they would take the time to clean everything up and take it off site. There were a few times when they were hard to get a hold of, however I did not have any negative experiences with Hometown Building.

We called them back to get the problems fixed, but they wanted us to use another roofer that they recommended. We looked up our own because we decided to do the house roof and the porch all at the same time. This company is not trustworthy and does not do quality work.

We contacted several contractors and found that Hometown, the original builder of the screen porch 26-years ago, was competitively priced. They promptly came to our house for an estimate and told us that there would be about a 6-week lead time in getting the new roof (special order required). About 5-weeks later we contacted them to determine if the install would be done and shortly thereafter it was. The old roof was removed, the parts taken away and the new roof was installed. All was done within 2-days.

Overall I was satisfied with the work that was done and with the attempt they made to match the color of my existing trim work on the house. My only complaint is that they never called to let me know when they were going to begin work on the project, they just showed up on the first day unannounced, as well with subsequent visits. They did cleanup after themselves for the most part, they also left some of their tools behind. After final payment was made I never received a paid in full receipt.

Very favorable. The only thing I had to do was re-stain some interior and exterior siding that was replaced.

THE JOB LOOK GREAT. THE ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT I HAD TO KEEP ON TOP OF THEM. THEY WERE DOING MANY JOBS AT ONCE AND DIDN'T COMMUNICATE THAT WITH ME.
