Michael provides a fantastic service in that he is a buyer's broker only. He listened carefully to my wants and needs in a house and educated me on things to pay attention to, such as factors that may affect resale value.  No pressure at all, and he was incredibly patient in showing me house after house and talking through the relative merits of the properties I saw. He facilitated the process of making an offer, getting an inspection, applying for a mortgage, etc.  Very knowledgeable, very easy to work with. 

He met with me over coffee to determine exactly what I wanted in a home and what I was willing to pay each month for it. There was a retainer fee/deposit involved, but true to his word, it was refunded after I closed on my house. He works only with buyers, and will never try to "sell" you a house. I never felt pressured to make an offer or offer a price that I was uncomfortable with, I was only provided with information about approximate value in order to make an informed decision. He was patient and helpful through 4 offers either rejected or too far apart to negotiate, 1 offer accepted but then backed out of on basis of the inspection, and finally one successful purchase.
