Description of Work: Great Service! Fair to a fault! Took my TV back panel off and cleaned the 4 fans. Determined fixing problem was not worth the value of a 10 year old TV. But did not charge me anything. Highly recommend Robert Higgins!

Description of Work: After he left, I found my VCR/DVD player didn't work. Discovered it hadn't been reconnected to the TV. When I called to ask him to walk me through reconnecting it, he kept insisting, very rudely, he never left a |a VCR/DVD player not reconnected. I finally had to hang up. Problem on TV |returned several weeks later and I would up buying a new TV. The TV was a |Samsung and was just out of warranty when this house call took place.

Description of Work: This is a one man operation. He actually diagnosed the problem just by giving the brand of TV, age and description of the problem. He came to my house confirmed the diagnosis and proceeded to repair the problem for the same price range as initially quoted. Since the replacement parts are of somewhat better quality, I may get another 10 years out of this TV if I want. If your TV acts up, call them and you may save a bundle.

Description of Work: I called Robert Higgins about fixing my TV and he came over the next day, on time, diagnosed the problem quickly (the capacitors were worn out), and repaired it promptly, at a reasonable price.

 + -1 moreI have an old console television. He was able to replace the parts and within about two hours, it looks perfect. The picture is brighter and clearer, and I could see night scenes now. It was just perfect and he did a fantastic job. Not only that, I casually mentioned an old stereo from the 60s that I have, and he fixed that too. He had to send for parts, so it took about two weeks. He brought it back today. It works like a brand-new machine! He's very good and knows what he's doing. He's very careful and meticulous.
Description of Work: He repaired my television and stereo. I don't remember the price for the TV, but the stereo was $360, and he had to practically rebuild it and ship it out for parts.

I called Richard and he answered on a very cold Sunday and found the lamp I needed and came over and installed it within a few hours of me calling. TV works great and I am ready for Super Bowl Sunday.

Description of Work: Robert came to my house on a bitterly cold day, identified the problem, and performed a repair. When an unexpected complication arose, he took the TV declaring "I'm not giong to let this beat me" and had it back the next day in working order with no additional charge.

 + -1 moreOur TV had sound but no picture. Called Robert Sunday evening. We were surprised that he answered and was able to come the next morning. He came the next morning and even showed up early. Was unable to fix TV in house so took it back to shop to work on. Continued to run tests until he found the problem. Despite having several other calls, he had TV back to us later that day working perfectly in time for the Packer game. Very impressive customer service. Very nice guy. Very professional. Would highly recommend without reservation. A+
