It couldn't have gone better! Robert was very responsive and personable and took the time to honestly explain everything. The repair was exceptionally fast, even though he had to take the whole TV apart, with a guarantee and the price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommended!

Robert was AWESOME! We called him on a Sunday morning and he showed up later that day. He was friendly and punctual and explained our options. The cost was a little higher than I estimated, but, to be fair, I had no idea how much it would cost. It was TOTALLY worth it to fix a pretty new TV. Absolutely recommend for any TV repairs.

I took the TV into their shop. The estimate of parts needed plus labor was too high for me to justify on a seven-year-old TV. I let them dispose of it and went shopping for a new one.

Robert is an excellent communicator and asked permission prior to purchasing additional parts to complete the job. His initial diagnosis was correct and with the repair the TV is like new. I'd paid a lot for this TV as it was one of the first UHD 4K TVs on the market.

It went pretty well. Free Estimate, and then a repair cost that I deemed fair. Also mentioned that even if the cost of repair was higher once he replaced the part the original estimate would not change.

We took it to his shop for an estimate. Within a short amount of time he had it diagnosed with a fair price for the repair. Throughout the entire process he kept us up to date and informed in a friendly, professional manner.

Bob was fantastic. Fair price. Had tv back to us by the promised time. Gave us clear information about what work was done and how to maintain the tv to prevent future problems.

Our TV went completely black.......no power, no picture, no voice over a week end. After reviewing recommendations on Angie's List, we called his business on Monday morning and he immediately responded. We gave him the Model Number of the set.  He discussed with us that he would set up an appt when he was "coming our way" with his travels. We received a call back by Monday afternoon that he could come and evaluate the TV at our home.......a "bonus" of not having to take the TV set into a store for repair.

He arrived as scheduled and immediately repaired the set.  He replaced the circuit board that had "blown" and showed us what had "shorted out" causing the problem. Because he had received the Model Number from us before the visit....he brought the correct circuit board with him ....on the outside chance that it would need replacing.   He explained the repair in relation to the type of TVs currently available on the market for purchase.

He was very professional in dress and in his discussion of the repair.  He repaired the TV rapidly.....not wasting time.  His knowledge of TVs is very extensive. He is quite articulate and easily spoke with terminology that my Electrical Engineering husband comprehended yet was able to explain the repair in terms that a non-engineering person could understand.

He  was very polite and explain everything he cleaned the area and did fantastic job will recommend his work to others that need his type of work

OMG!!   Found him on Angie's List, gave him a call - he was at our house in 15 minutes!  Since I had told him the symptoms of our tv, he already knew what the problem was and got right to it.  He replaced several items, soldered the new ones on and our tv was up and running in no time.  Plus he gave us a lesson in new tv's and what to look for and what to stay away from.  Great guy!
Will definitely recommend him to friends and family - forever!

I called Higgins and he was able to come take a look at my TV on the same day.  Arrival was prompt.  Very professional and helpful.  I had made an attempt to replace one board on my own, but since it didn't work, Robert explained what the next logical steps would be and why.  We determined that another board should be replaced and we searched online for a way to buy the board.  Since he knew I could do this on my own, he was great and told me to call him after I installed the new board.   The new board did not work and the next step was to replace the LED lights on the screen which was not something I could do, nor did I want to pay for.  Robert knew what I was looking for so we exchanged a refurbished TV with a 6 mo warranty.  Price was very reasonable.  I was very pleased with his professionalism.  He was prompt, courteous and reasonable.  A very good experience.

We were having color problems with our Sony Bravia LCD television and decided to call a TV repairman.  Checking on Angie's List, we called Higgins In Home TV Repair as we found his reviews were so great.  He didn't disappoint!  Over the phone, Bob Higgins worked with us, asking us questions and having us try different steps to isolate the problem and help him diagnose our problem.  Without making a house call, Bob was able to determine that a wire had disconnected from our cable box.  We recently had our cable tv repairman out for a problem and he replaced the box but did not properly re-connected one of the wires.  We offered to pay him for his time & trouble, but he refused.  We found him to be kind, professional and very experienced.  We will always call Higgins In Home TV Repair for any future problems.  Thank you, Bob!

Robert called to let me know when he would arrive, was very professional and explained what he was doing, he even showed us exactly what happened to the bulb.  I will refer him to anyone I know for future TV repair.  The fact that he answered when I called and was able to come within a few hours was remarkable.
