Goldman Group- RE/MAX Lakeside

Graig Goldman leads a team of realtors for Re/Max Lakeside in Milwaukee (broker/owner is Mark Kivley). Goldman "represented" us when we purchased a new home in winter of 2014. He and the seller?s agent, Aiste Sterle, also from Kivley?s ReMax Lakeside team, together neglected to disclose to us there were significant wetlands on the property. As spring came, so did the standing water, which makes huge sections of the yard unusable. We?d only seen the house once and after expressing interest in a second showing, Goldman informed us a competing offer had just been submitted. Based on that, we hastily put in an offer as
well, only to later learn that ours had been the only one.
We filed ethics complaints against both realtors with the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors. Goldman was found guilty of professional misconduct on two counts, Sterle on one. Additionally, we used a home inspector Goldman recommended who conveniently missed numerous issues that if brought to our attention, we would have walked away. These issues have been very costly to repair, and that's not even talking about expenses involved to mitigate the water issues on the property.
We?ve unfortunately had to initiate litigation against both realtors and the sellers to recoup some of our expenses. The situation has been a complete nightmare and has cost us a ton of money. Our advice to anyone considering using Goldman, Sterle or Re/Max Lakeside is? don?t.

Alex was very personable and really listened to our likes and dislikes when looking for our next house. During the selling process, he kept in contact with the realtors that brought their clients to our house in order to get feedback promptly.  He is very knowledgeable with the ups and downs of the market and was willing to do whatever it took to get our house sold.  Although it took longer than we all anticipated, in the end it was a pleasure to work with Alex Segal.

Alex and I began working together just as the market in Milwaukee was taking off in my price range. He must have showed me 30 houses...some we wrote offers on and lost and others I just didn't like enough to try and buy. Alex never judged me for dismissing a property based on location or my needs. Finally, after combing over all the available properties on the market on MLS and not having any luck, Alex took my search off market and located a home just outside my price range, but listed on Craigslist. He worked with me and private seller to make this deal happen and he coached me through the whole process to make sure I understood everything and gave me some strategy how to handle the sale too. Alex was awesome every step of the way and I hope this review helps seal your decision to work with Alex. He cares about his clients needs, not just making an easy buck. 

The entire process from start to finish was fantastic.  Alex not only worked hard to find us the property that we wanted, but then worked even harder to get our property sold in a timely manner.  Very few bumps in the road, overall smooth and great transactions.

Throughout the process Alex was great at keeping an eye out for houses that would match our preferences, taking us out and helping us look at properties and understanding the significance of different things- like cracks in the basement or new appliances, and especially location.  Whenever I had a question he always had an answer very quickly and was really easy to get a hold of.  We're really happy with the home we purchased and will definitely be using Alex again in the future and recommend him to our friends & family!
