We started using Gerlach Electric with his father and now Rick runs the company,  we would go any  where else. He is not only very skilled but thoroughly trust worthy. Rick has done a variety of project from installing a new furnace to wiring an addition to  our home. We have never experienced anything even close to a  problem in twenty- five years we have used this company.

Electrician was courteous and efficient.  He explained everything he was doing, and provided different options for each part of the job.  He was willing to stay beyond the scheduled time to complete the work or, if more convenient to us, offered to return at a later date, if we chose.  We have a very old home, and the electrician was willing to meet the challenges of an old house.  We would recommend Gerlach to anyone looking to hire an electrician.

Rick is a pleasure to work with and is very punctual.  If he thinks he may be late, he'll call to inform.  It's obvious that Rick knows the "code" well and has been doing this for quite some time; he gets the job done professionally and better than expected.

I own a large heating plate/warming tray (2 1/2 x 3 ft) that I use on a weekly basis.  One week I plugged it in & the heating element wouldn't come on.  We opened up the back of the tray and found that several wires had come undone.  It seemed simple but still something we coudn't fix ourselves.  I looked on Angie's list and had a hard time finding a company that fixes small appliances (which are often not worth fixing).  This, however, is a bit more expensive and an item I had ordered from out of state, so was not as easily replaceable.  And mostly, it was a shame to discard of something that could be fixed!  I called Gerlach and explained the situation and he said that he would be willing to take a look.  I went in & he was very kind, took a look & even though he doesn't typically do this level of repair, he offered to fix it by the time I needed to use it next (which was only a couple days away), and he charged a very fair price.  I was impressed with his work and also his good, positive, & flexible customer service. 

I have used this guys in the past and I had to use them again recently. They are great. They are professional, come out in a timely manner and they do excellent work at a great price.

Arrived on time. Got quickly to work on installing the fans. Had a couple of different options that we could have went with - listed the pros and cons of each. Installation went well, kept the area clean. Very happy with the work done.

When this company came to my home they were very polite and friendly. They took their time to answer my questions and show me exactly what needed to be done. I thought that they were very trustworthy and reliable. I would recommend them to anyone. They do a great job.

As far as I can remember everything had gone fine. This was a while ago, but everything is still good with the breaker. My husband took care of most of the dealings with them. I know that they were here on time, they were prepared and they were definitely in good spirits. It was a good experience and they are welcomed in my home anytime.

I am very happy with the work here. They did a mighty fine job and treated me OK. I know that the work was satisfying to the codes of the house and the best part is that they did no damage to my shrubbery or plants. I was very thankful for that. They seemed to be very intelligent gentleman and they were also very kind as well.

AS IN THE PAST, GERLACH'S WORK WAS THOROUGH. AFTER EXAMINING SEVERAL RELATED PROBLEMS (A SET OF INSIDE OUTLETS THAT WOULD NOT WORK AND A LIGHT SWITCH THAT TURNED ON NOTHING) SEVERAL POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS TO THE OUTSIDE LIGHT PROBLEM WERE PROPOSED. I SELECTED ONE AND APPRECIATED THE WORK INVOVLED IN CHECKING THROUGH THE TWO APARTMENT'S WIRING TO TRY TO SOLVE THE MYSTERY.

THIS COMPANY DID A TERRIFIC JOB. THE WORK WAS DONE EFFICIENTLY, EFFECTIVELY AND NEATLY (THEY EVEN USED CARDBOARD OVER MY GARDEN TO AVOID TRAMPLING THE BULBS AND FLOWERS WHERE THEY NEEDED TO WORK).
