He was extremely responsive and very helpful. I called to see if he could inspect the piano I was interested in, and he volunteered to do it the very next day. I wasn't even able to be there for the inspection, but he was willing to look at it for me and then call me with his findings.

It turned out great. I am going to be using them again next year.

Mike is always flexible with the times he comes out to tune my piano and is always punctual. My piano always sounds great when he is done.

Mike was very responsive. We played telephone tag and he inadvertently misplaced my number. He called me back to admit his mistake, apologize, and schedule the tuning appointment right away. I appreciated his candor and humility. Once he arrived, he got right to work, discovered that the piano would require tuning over 2 days and came back promptly two days later.
The piano sounded so awful at first and Mike got it to PERFECT PITCH!!!
I was so thrilled, I already recommended him to my personal friends and he has tuned at least one other piano so far!!!
So, yes, I would highly recommend Mike to anyone in need of a piano to be tuned, especially for those pianos that may seem hopelessly out of tune. One of my friends had 2 other tuners try to tune her piano, to no avail. Mike did the job right for her!! Wow!!!

I found Mike Foley at the top of Angie's List. I called him and he immediately called me back and scheduled an appointment. His communiation was excellent throughout the whole process as he called to verify time and even called the morning of to confirm and then again when he was on his way. He is a great, down to earth guy and very honest. He tuned our piano that was is horrible shape in about an 1 and a half and it sounds great. He quoted me a higher price but by the end of his work charged me less b/c he said it didnt need as much work. I would highly reccommend Mike again.

We waited until the last minute to get the piano tuned in time for guests to hear it on Thanksgiving. Mr. Foley had a full schedule but managed to fit us in, which we really appreciated. It's pretty hard to elaborate on tuning a piano; either it's done right or it's not. Foley did it right, it's in perfect tune now. He also repaired some broken ivory on the keyboard without charging us, something I've been putting off. He's a very friendly guy and knows what he's doing. Will definitely use him again.

I hadn't tuned the piano in 9 years. The piano is a 60 yr old Kendall Upright Electronic Player Piano. He had never worked on one before. When he got the sound board out, he was afraid to proceed because he might loosen wires to the player mechanism. He called two colleagues but could not reach them, so he put the soundboard back, did some research and came back a week later to finish the job.
