Estimate was in line with other bids. FW representative did a better job of explaining what would be done than other bidders. I asked for an old two step rectangular stoop to be replaced with a half circle design. I was very pleased with the result. Overall I am satisfied with finished product, with some issues as follows: - A fair amount of concrete splatter on house and garage vinyl siding and vinyl fence. Cement was installed up to the house and garage as requested. Fence was roughly 10 inches from driveway cement. Most significant splatter was on fence. No mention of this was made by FW during or after installation. I was hopeful that once the cold set in I could chip the splatter off but so far no luck. - FW was lacking in timely communication. After accepting their offer I had to delay scheduling the installation due to other yard work that had to precede it. I also needed to schedule a disconnect of the air conditioning to coincide with the beginning of the project. Once the yard work was complete I had difficulty getting a scheduling response from FW. I had no specific time frame I wanted the work done. I only needed a start date so I could schedule the air conditioner disconnect. I placed several calls and emails to FW but did not get a response until the very last email. I then received a call indicating they would start in 10 days. I believe that was on a Thursday evening. The next morning I received a call stating they would be there on Monday! - There were a few minor dips in the finished driveway cement. Nothing serious but surprising none the less. Perhaps this is normal. I have no other experience with concrete instalations. Unfortunately for me one of these was about a 2 foot square area right in the walking pattern to the back door. I always need to remember to brush off standing water or salt the area in the winter. - This job required multiple days. They parked a large trailer on my front lawn without asking or mentioning it. (Other contractors I have had left their equipment in the street overnight.) This resulted in some lawn damage but nothing significant.

They got a late start because of the weather but once on the job did exactly what we talked about during the planning process.
My request to adjust the elevation of the drive to control a water run off problem was executed to perfection. My wife and I just watch the heavy rains and drainage from our neighbors yard bypass our house and go to the street. The drive is over 160 feet long and the problem started at the garage. The drive is perfect. We no longer have any water problems and by adjusting the radius of our front parking/turning pad, we can get in and out much easier. 16 Months ago I thanked Tom and his crew for a great job. Again, I say Thank You Guys.
