Erich Lindner Doors

Erich Lindner was available on a Sunday and came to our help. He acknowledged that he was no expert with overhead garage doors but did what he could. He worked very hard and did get the door to open again (though it still needed more work). He would have accepted a much smaller amount than what we paid him, but we thought it good to compensate him for his effort. We still had to call on another garage door company to get the work completed.

Erich Lindner rocks!  Literally.  I was referred to Erich by Lisbon Storm Screen & Door.  I have an unusual sized doorway (probably for ADA) so I ordered one from the Larson Company through Lisbon.  After ordering the door at Lisbon they recommended Erich to install it.  Lisbon would not complete the order until Erich came to my place and confirmed the measurements I took--a nice perk for me.  A few days later Erich called, confirmed my measurements and I placed the order.  This was in the middle of November.  When the door arrived at Lisbon, Erich (not Lisbon) called me and we set up an install the next day.  By now it was the middle of January, but Erich was good to go.  He installed the door in a couple of hours and cleaned everything up afterward.  And, while taking a bathroom break, Erich noticed my bathroom door made a squeak.  In a minute he had his screwdriver out and made several attempts to fix it.  Turns out the door is warped, but he did show me hot to fix it myself.  Nice tip, Erich.

Erich arrived a few days earlier and examined the door, the frame, and the threshold. He work continually for four hours in high humidity and 90 degree heat. When he finished everything worked perfect and looked great. His crew sweep up the wood shavings and the place looked very tidy when he was done. I would recommend him and will call him again for other repairs or replacement of doors.

I'm always very happy with the work Erich does - this was probably the 6th time I've used him. The previous time I used him he was able to fix a door which I did not think could be repaired. I would definitely use him again.

We needed to replace the ancient, ill-fitting storm door at our condo. Our assocation required a certain door model and color, which we ordered from a big-box home supply store. I called three on the store's list of possible installers, and Mr. Lindner responded first and gave a good price estimate and account of his services. After we decided to hire him for the job, my mother and me did wait over two weeks to get him to examine the old door and confirm the price estimate and job details. Luckily, this wasn't a huge issue, as the door we ordered still had not arrived. Once the door came and we brought it home, we notified Mr. Lindner and we were able to set up an early evening installation time two days later. His assistant and he arrived about a quarter-hour late, but got to the job right away. It took them about 1.5 hours from start to finish. The job was done well and included 1) filling of old bracket and drill holes from the previous door and 2) removal of all packaging and the old door. Will mention Mr. Lindner can be a little quirky and schedules residential installations around his larger commercial jobs, but does good, honest work at a good price.
