Mark did the tear out, so we could have glass block window in on a very short notice. He continued to add insulation, cement board and then his real craft tile! We choose matte white subway for surround and matte hex for the floor. The work is fantastic. Great attention to detail and craftsmanship. Our bathroom was a 70's nightmare, now returned to a restoration look eve for the glass block lol. He worked with Schoofs plumbing who were a bit over scheduled, but good plumbers often are. Also utilized JJ Electrical, who were spot on fast and helpful with a hall light as well. I bought all fixtures and paid plumber and electrician separately. We are very please with everything!

Not really ceramic tile, but Angie's list doesn't have a slate tile category.  We are putting a new bathroom in on the second floor of our house.  The tiles we used were really intended for a different project that we decided to go a different way with.  Mark first mudded the shower pan that the plumber put in then hung sheet rock on the walls.  The floor of the shower is small square tiles which is more like a regular tile job.  The walls of the shower and the floor of the rest of the bathroom are large, irregular slate field tiles.  Mark had make many custom cuts.  He must have made 200 trips up and down the stairs to where he was set up outside.  It was more like stone work than tiling.He cleaned up after himself every day and was courteous and polite and very respectful of the fact that we are both at home during the day, but doing other things.The job looks great.  We'd be happy to have him back.
