When I realized the services were not being performed 1/2 thru the summer, I contacted the owner who to date, I had given a lot of business to at my previously purchased home. He was initially gracious and accepted accountability for an oversight. We agreed on compensation for portion of work that had not been completed and stated the remainder of work would be completed on timely basis. At the end of the year, the work was still not completed as agreed and paid for. I contacted the owner once again and requested a refund. He agreed to a refund but, I have not heard from him since. I was going 2 let it go but have come to realize the severe disappointment. As stated, I had given EastSide Lawn a lot of business and the lack of respect is eye opening.

I ordered a 4 foot fence and there were sections that were only 3 feet. I also feel the quality of the materials was poor, I have sections that are warped and one panel has fallen off.

There were significant amounts of leaves left over within the bushes following the leaf removal, and he ended up not charging me for it. I didn't have weeds last year so I guess fertilizer worked.

I first want to comment that East Side Lawn Care has a very friendly staff. In dealing with Rick, he was professional and concerned that the applications we purchased were not working on our lawn. The applications were definitely the problem. They just did not work. We used another service last year that had only four applications and our lawn was weed free all summer. The applications used by East Side just did not cut it. Thankfully East Side came out several times to spot treat and update applications to stave off these weeds, but this took additional communications and made a lot of work for us and Rick at East Side Lawn Care.

They cut very few limbs from the tree in the back yard. The limbs was put next to the trash can and now we have to get rid of it because the garage truck will not pick it up. The tree looks like nothing has been done to it. They did't cut much off tree so that it would be noticeable

"Our crew did 4 man hours of work as agreed. The limbs were completely cleared from the top of the garage as requested and some additional limb clearing work was done as well. I don't know what we could have done differently, but I apologize if you are not happy with the work."

"No, we do not spray the entire lawn every time. That is wasteful and can contribute to pollution. We spray where necessary. However, we have a satisfaction guarantee, so I refunded this customer's full purchase price. She sounded surprised and delighted that I would refund the whole amount, but that's our policy. I thought this was resolved in the best possible way."

I bought a 26-week mowing package for $779 and have been more than pleased with East Side Lawn Care for our Shorewood home. The owner Rick is very attentive and responsive to questions or issues, and when we needed some quick landscaping done in order to put our house on the market, Rick was super accommodating and for a very fair price. I highly recommend East Side Lawn Care for not only regular lawn mowing but additional landscaping and other projects.

The crew performed the task while I was at church. The area looks 100 times better than it did. The area was cleaned up and looked like no one was there. I really appreciated that. The bushes were over 20 years old and some of it was dead from salt and Milwaukee winters. I was well pleased.

Right from the start, we heard from East Side Lawn Care right away. We were able to set up a first appointment within a week. The gentleman who came out to our yard was professional, friendly, and did exactly what we expected to the lawn. It was the same experience the next someone came out. I think it was the same person as the first visit. The guy in the office was super to work. Very nice experience.

However, because of my miscommunication, I asked them to come back and redo the work because wood chips were still in the beds. I was told that they would so they claimed that they came back today, and still nothing was done differently from the first time two days prior. When my sister returned home, she went out to see how it looked and noticed that the wood chips were still there as well.
I'm not paying for sloppiness and lies. The people who did the job lied about having 6 bags of wood chips but there was only a fourth of a bag by my garbage can. The workers claimed that they saw a garbage truck pass and tried to sling them in there. I don' t know if I quite believe this.. Plus I was home when they began the work the first time, but had to go to work and they were left there, and the second time, no one was at my home and I was just not satisfied when I did return home and saw the work.
I may not know the landscaping business, but I'm not a stupid woman. I know when work has been done and when it hasn't. I will not be paying an extra hundred ten dollars for this. I thought they were really trustworthy because of Angie's List, but this is ridiculous. I don't know what to do. I will probably get sued because if it's not rectified, I'm going to pay for this job. I'm a new homeowner, but I believe I could have done a better job ourselves. I just wanted it to be professionally done the first year, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. "I visited the property and tried to resolve the issue and I was treated with hostility and essentially accused of lying about the work we did. I never want to get into unpleasantness with any customer, so I agreed not to charge anything more than the initial deposit, and tried to remained cordial. I wanted to resolve this issue to their satisfaction. They said they felt this was a fair resolution."

It was my worst experience with any of the services that i had for my house. I enrolled EastSide lawn for a complete season maintenance, which was 5 visits. They visited just 2 times and then stopped the service saying, my lawn had lot of weeds and all 5 visits time is taken up and they can't provide the service anymore, they asked me to pay more money if i wish to have their service. Complete rip off, $300 for 2 visits. I was so much disappointed with their attitude and service. Rick was very rude in even talking to me to explain why they would do so. I sincerely do not recommend going with East Side Lawn care.
