+ 0 moreBefore we moved into our house their electrician, while doing an HVAC tune up, preformed an electrical panel inspection, for an additional charge, and stated there were no issues with it and signed off on it. Once we moved in and quickly noticed electrical problems we had to have almost $4,000 worth of work done just to get the electrical panel and service up to code and safe to live in the house. The electric panel had to be replaced due to a potential fire hazard and water entering through the service line, nothing in the house was grounded, even though there were three prong receptacles. This included the panel not having a ground and improper bond to the water line. In addition there were multiple safety hazards found related to the wiring. They 'might' be a decent HVAC company but their master electrician must not have done more than glance at the panel and it ended up costing us a lot of time and money to have it corrected.

+ -1 moreI appreciate Dan taking time away from his family to stop over on a Saturday to turn on my boiler. What was even more shocking was Dan's generosity of not charging me a trip charge. Most contractors would have charged a trip charge. Not my man Dan!
Description of Work: Dan with Dickenschrauf HVAC stopped over at no charge and showed me how to turn on my boiler. Dan spent time with me to explain to me on how to trouble shoot boilers in order to save some money by not calling him in to just simply flip a switch.

+ -1 moreDan with Dickenschrauf HVAC showed that he is flexibile when it comes to service my needs. I would imagine Dickenschrauf HVAC would do the same for all of their customers.
Description of Work: Dan serviced my Central Air unit at my personal residence. My pregnant wife was in dire need of cool air in the house on a Hot July day. Dan and I agreed to meet on a time that worked out for me.

Description of Work: Dan and his team at Dickenschrauf HVAC did a general inspection of a property I purchased and had a huge boiler. Dan's team recommended some preventive maintenance and replaced an ignition transformer to ensure the boiler was working for the winter season.

Description of Work: Dan with Dickenschrauf HVAC dropped what he was doing very late in the evening to tend to a boiler that was not working properly. My tenants called me complaining about no heat. Dan was over within an hour and had the heat back on not too soon after.

+ -1 moreWent very well. Would recommend Dickenschrauf HVAC to all friends, business partners, and family.
Description of Work: WE Energies recommended I call in HVAC specialists to look into leaking Gas from a furnace at one of my rental properties on Orchard. I had Dan and his team trouble shoot the issue and what was found that two water heaters were needed to be replaced. Dan and his team dont normally replace water heaters, but Dan sensed I was in dire need. Dan couldnt put in standard water heaters in for me as the ceiling was very short. He went above and beyond the call of duty IMO. He contacted Engineers for specifics measurements with regards to certain products at his disposal and tried to keep my costs down. In the end, he spent hours on the phone and made a decision on a product that should have been in my property since day one. The previous owner threw in garbage water heaters that leaked Gas constantly. Dan decided to go with two brand new power vented water heaters that offered the best safety to my tenants and ended up saving me a ton of money.
