I called and left a message which Mr. Collins responded within 24 hours. He was very pleasant and professional on the phone as we set up a work order. He came the same day to pick up our snowblower and take to his shop for repairs. The repair was completed within a couple of days. We even got the snowblower back earlier then previously arranged which was a big plus. The repair cost was very fair and right in line with others that did similar repairs. We have since used the snowblower and it works great. I will definitely call on Collins Repair's LLC again! I'm not sure if he tunes up lawnmowers and sharpens the blades too but I will find out and hope to have Mr. Collins service that too. Thank you again for the good honest work done. Mrs. Calhoun

The great thing is Kevin picks up and delivers the machine, be it a lawnmower or snowblower, no charge. Price is good and my back is better.

Kevin was great. Very professional and responsive from the get-go. In less than the time it took other repair places to just return my phone call, Kevin had already picked up my snowblower, assessed the problem, and gave me a quote. Unbelievably fast. His price was fair?$70 for a minor engine repair and full tune-up?and my snowblower has been running great since. Highly recommended.

The service was actually performed ahead of schedule. Mr. Collins picked up and returned the snow blower. It is now working fine. Prices were reasonable and service was prompt. I would use this service again

He came the day after we called, which was really nice because everyone else we called had a huge wait! As it turns out we were just out of oil! He told us what we needed and went on his way.

This contractor is top quality. He goes the extra mile. He got our 14-year old snowblower running again in the middle of a very snowy season. He was very thorough and explained everything that was required to fix the equipment, e.g. parts, labor, etc.

My approximately 10 year old Torro snow-blower would not start. It smelled like it was flooded all the time. Called Kevin. He came over to my home a few hours latter. He looked at the snowblower to see if it was worth fixing. He thought it was, and that it would probably cost less than $125 to fix it. I asked him to call me if it was going to cost more than about $100 to fix after he started working more on it. He said he would. Then, he gave me a claim check, and took my snowblower with him in his van. About a week later, Kevin called me to tell me he had fixed the snowblower. The carburetor had been plugged and the engine was getting too much gas, It had gotten badly flooded. He cleared the carburetor, replaced the spark plug, and also replaced the gas primer bulb which was in bad shape. He also made a few adjustments to make it run better. Kevin charged me about $55.00. He brought the snowblower back to my home in his van. It has worked well so far since he fixed it. I have used it twice so far.

We were very pleased with Collins' Repair and would definitely go to Kevin Collins again for repair needs. Our gas lawnmower stopped working while in use mowing the lawn and would not restart, only producing some white smoke when restarting it. We looked on Angie's List to find a repair shop and came across the listing for Kevin's business. We called that evening and Kevin came to our house to pick up the lawn mower, asked me a few questions, informed me he would start with a tune up and if he noticed any major problems he would call to inform us of the expected cost and to find out what we wished to do. As it turned out, the tune up and tightening a few bolts that appeared to not have been properly tightened when we previously had the mower repaired elsewhere, solved the problem and Kevin returned the mower the very next day. Kevin was polite and professional and very efficient. It was very convenient to have our lawn mower picked up and returned to our home. I would highly recommend Kevin Collins to anyone needing repairs.

.I used the tiller the next day and it works great. Kevin gave me some tips on storing the machine when it's not going to be used for a while. And to turn the gas off to run the machine dry, preventing dirt build-up that caused the problems in the first place. He told me that if I had any questions or problems to contact him. Kevin told us he would pick up the snow blower from Greendale and look into it. He said there would be a cost for doing so but that cost would be credited if service was preformed. He fixed it, did regular maintenance and returned it; all for a very good price.

I was concerned calling someone that didn't list a street address in their profile, but decided to take a chance, based on other users reviews. I am glad I did. Kevin was very helpful, honest, and over all pleasant. My only concern in giving him all all positive reviews is that he would get much more business and would be too busy to help us next time we need help. Nonetheless, he deserves nothing but the best of recommendations. I would definitely use his services again.

They did a fine job. They came in and picked up the snow blower as well as dropped it back off after it was fixed. They seemed great and professional.

I initially left a voicemail for Kevin and he returned my call promptly. He asked questions about my mower and gave me an approximate estimate over the phone. He came and picked up the mower (very convenient!) at the designated time, gave me a claim ticket and an expected date of completion. He had the mower for one week. Upon delivery he also gave me a few more tips for keeping the mower in tip-top shape. Overall very good experience. Mower runs great. I would use his services again.

I spent $60 on that work. I had him raise a cupboard to put in a refrigerator under it in May of last year for $400. My interaction with him was all positive. I like that he picks and drops the snow and lawn mowers and I don’t have to fit them in my car. The work he did with the cupboard looked good and works fine. His professionalism is good. His price is pretty competitive.

Kevin did a great job. I really didn't expect this ancient old blower to be salvageable, but he made it happen. His service was great too. He picked up and dropped off the snow blower at my place. A big storm was forecast while he still had the snow blower, so (without me asking!) he hustled and made sure I would have it back before the storm hit, even going so far as to make a 9 pm delivery.

Kevin Collins responded promptly and offered free pick up and delivery of my snow blower. I thought the problem might have been with the engine, but when he came to pick up the snow blower, he immediately diagnosed the problem as a stripped gear on the electric starter. He offered to replace the electric starter, try to get it rebuilt or the lower cost option of repairing the pull start (the cord on the pull start had disintegrated a couple of years earlier). I chose to have the electric starter replaced.

Great! He not only does the maintenance, he picks up and delivers the lawnmower.
