Jim is a true craftsman and offers valuable perspective and advice on a design that maintains the architectural style of the home..  He is versatile in his building skills with a great quality of work and attention to detail.  Jim is also punctual, reliable, organized, tidy and fairly priced.  This project was one of several he has helped us with.  We are VERY pleased with our new bath.
NOTE that the project cost does NOT include several fixtures/furnishings that we purchased ourselves and Jim installed.  It also does NOT include that paid to a plumber and electrician for upgrades we made to meet code.  Jim helped us identify those contractors and we were also very pleased with their work.

Once again an amazing job by Jim!  Took a smelling old kitchen and dragged it into the 21st century. Per my previous posting/review I knew what to expect.  Jim's contacts with cabinetry served us well from the quality to price. We sprung for travertine for the floor but carrying in the tile almost killed me but Jim handled it like a pro.  Frigid temps did not deter Jim as the project moved forward cutting tile in our garage and proceeded on schedule. Uneven plaster was mudded over to provide a consistently straight appearance that eventually took paint well.  I painted the mill work and Jim installed with accuracy and tight miters. The cabinets went in without a hitch and our kitchen took shape. Jim is Tosa's best kept secret.

I don't know why I didn't write this sooner other than I don't want this secret revealed. From the first consultation to the much needed advice throughout the entire project Jim's experience never let us down.  Total time from start to finish was about 4 weeks.  Understanding the importance of quality we accepted Jim's pragmatic approach to the project.  The result was a grand transformation from 1950 to the 21st century.  My assessment was correct when the project was done, I'm very detail oriented so I was looking for straight grout lines, clean and accurate work overall and tight miter joints, I got them.  Jim worked through any issues with clear communication and no shortcuts were taken. My wife and I were impressed with the the final result and would definitely use Classic Home Improvement again.

Jim remodeled our kitchen. We did the demo, but Jim did the rest. He is a true craftsman as he had to make several custom items for our kitchen. This is our second time hiring Jim, and we will hire him again for our bathroom.

His name is James Bednarski.  He does quality work.  A piece of equipment that he bought had ended up being faulty.  He fixed that to my satisfaction.  He made sure the work was done right.

I needed someone to remodel my bathrooms and I wanted it done right away. I got Classic Home Improvement from Angie's list. The price quote and availability to begin the work sold me. Jim, the owner, did a great job and I'm thrilled.

Called Jim on Thursday, he was here exactly on time the following Wednesday, spent the day, and came back briefly the next day to finish up. Jim left a clean work area, with a highly satisfactory repair.

It was very good. I was very pleased with him work. He did intricate tile work.

MR. BIDNARSKI, REMOVED THE ROTTEN 6' X 3' PIECES AND SEALED IT SO IT WAS READY FOR PAINTING. HE WAS QUICK, CLEAN AND DID A QUALITY JOB EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A SMALL JOB. IF YOU HAVE A SMALL AMOUNT OF CARPENTRY WORK, GIVE THE CONTRACTOR PLENTY OF TIME TO USE YOUR JOB AS A FILL IN, THIS GIVES YOU BOTH THE BEST DEAL FOR TIME AND MONEY.
