Chimney Doctor

Fantastic. Well worth the time and money spent.

We had Chimney Doctors come to our house shortly after we bought it to do what we thought would just be tuck-pointing.   After they came out to do the work, they found that the top bricks were crumbling and said we needed to rebuild about 1/4 of the chimney (starting at the roof-line). 
The work was completed in good time, by extremely polite and quality workers.  The quality of the work has also been great.  They even did some minor tuck pointing closer to the base for free "cause it needed it".  My only problem with the project, is that I am not sure it was all necessary after I showed the pictures to other chimney folks.  I worry that they took us for the naive first-time home buyers we were!  When I wrote to the owner with my concerns in a very polite letter (and a glowing review of the crew who did the job), I never heard anything back.  I truly felt it was a "got our money, we're done".  A simple response that indicated he reviewed the pictures and talked to the crew and agreed would have changed my vibe about the entire company, but without it, I am left with even stronger feeling that we got suckered.
I don't recommend the company to friends.  They did great work, and the people who were on the job were fantastic, but the company itself does not seem to be about costumer service or appreciation.  We have since gone elsewhere for our chimney needs!

They responded to my call and came out right away.  They were helpful in explaining the problem.  The work crew came in a timely manner.  I thought they did a good job.  They were responsive to my questions.  The price seemed reasonable to me.

Stressful to hear negative reviews from other professionals.
