Jim is clearly very experienced, wore a mask the entire time which I appreciated. Completed everything that was needed in a timely fashion. Price point hurt but I appreciated the service.

2nd time I've used Budget Right and highly recommend. The same handyman Jim Dwyer was here and did a great job again.

Excellent. This was the third time I have used Budget Right. They come and do what you need done. I had the list of items above and Ryan was super fast and efficient. I appreciate that it’s easy to make appointments too—they’re very professional on the phone.

The entire install went well and I'm very happy with the results. Ryan had car trouble on the original agreed upon date, but he more than made up for it by coming out the next day (Sunday). He was prompt and very professional. I bought the fans off of Amazon and sized them so there there would be minimal issues with the new fans fitting in the current ceiling opening. The bathroom exhaust fan went in without any problems but Ryan quickly realized that he couldn't install the bathroom timer (he will do minor electrical but this installed required a licensed electrician). The downstairs bathroom was a little bit harder to install but he did a good job, even doing a little drywall repair. All in all, my wife were very happy with the results.

Very happy with the service, the work, and the entire experience. I had never used a handyman service before and was apprehensive. From the moment I requested a quote until the work was complete I was treated very well and could not be happier with how I was treated and the quality of the work completed. I will be calling again.

We contacted Budget Right, because they were the highest rated on Angie’s List, to replace a rotted door frame as part of our house sale. Mario showed up on time on Saturday and did a good job. The only complaint with the work was that he didn’t clean up after he was done. He left all the trash/debris. The real problem, however, was when we tried to get a lien waiver which was required as part of our home sale. Mario contacted the office before he started the work – we were told it wouldn’t be an issue. When we attempted to contact the office via phone and email the Monday following the work, we didn’t get timely responses. We left messages and sent emails, but we had to continually follow up with them to get responses. When we finally got a hold of Stan, we were told that they normally don’t do lien waivers for jobs as small as ours and if we wanted one, we would have to pay for two additional hours of labor. We owned our house for nine years and NEVER encountered a situation like this. We even prepared a waiver for them to use to make it easier on them. All we really needed was a signature. They refused to even acknowledge receipt of the form and instead insisted the only way we could get the lien waiver is if we paid $140!! The job itself was completed for $280. UNBELIEVABLE. We really had no choice but to pay the money because it was holding up our closing. It’s a shame the company handled this situation so poorly. Would not recommend!

Mario did excellent work Very professional

Went very well. Stu M. was my technician. He arrived on time, very professional with his job and painting was superb. The kids love their rooms.

Work was never performed. The handyman sent to do the job never came to my door at the 8:00am appointment time. I was in the driveway area with my dog and he called and left a message. After I went back into the house and saw the message, I called back 2 times and left messages. No one ever returned my call. Now I have been charged $69 dollars even though no work was ever performed. I have emailed and called 2 times and no one is returning my calls. I'm waiting to hear back so this can be resolved.

Ryan was punctual, professional, worth every penny. I plan on using again.

The original installers of my new microwave claimed that my model was ok to vent internally and that it would cause not problems... 6 months later I have a grease stain on my ceiling. So I chose Budget Right based on the other reviews on the Angie's List. The office help was .. so so. I initially set an appointment with a just in case follow up date, I called to let them know that my I had to reschedule which was fine but they did not reschedule the follow up appointment.. The poor guy came out on a Monday morning(Chicago to Milwaukee) and we had to send him away. Saturday, March 24th and the handyman returned. Mario C. - This guy was excellent. Took my microwave down analyzed the situation and made the fix, in a cost effective time efficient manner. He could have made all types of holes, pulled apart my wall, and cost me a bunch more money but he figured it out. So much so that he completed the job, I called him for in 45 min. When that was done I had a dryer vent that I bought a replacement for and he fixed that too in 5min!!! Can't say enough about the guy, so I gave him a $10 tip on the $69.00 service. I am guaranteed to call on him again because we have bunch of jobs he can help us with. I am IMPRESSED. On the flip side.. I don't think I got the discount on my service for being an Angies list member. Blaming the office not him. All in all tho great work.
