BRADY STREET FUTONS

The visit to their Brady St. store was very pleasant. The salesperson was competent, courteous and low pressure. We ordered the futon and were told the delivery would be the next week. It was.

The guys who work in this shop are helpful, knowledgable, low-key, and really nice. The shop has a wide range of futons, and they patiently explained all the details and let me wander around for a really long time till I made a decision. The free delivery went off without a hitch. My futon is comfortable, the cover looks great even after a couple of washings, and I'm really happy with my purchase.

I HAD TWO FRUSTRATING INCIDENTS WITH BRADY ST. FUTON. THEY SAID THESE WERE ISOLATED. I INITIALLY BOUGHT ONE FULL-SIZE FUTON FOR MY CHILD'S ROOM. THE FRAME CAME FROM THE MANUFACTURER DAMAGED AND DELAYED THE DELIVERY BY ONE MONTH. I THEN BOUGHT ANOTHER, QUEEN SIZE, FUTON FOR OUR GUEST ROOM AND THE MANUFACTURER OF THEIR FRAMES WERE OUT OF STOCK. THE STORE DID NOT KNOW THIS WHEN I PURCHASED THE FUTON, NOR DID THEY FOLLOW-UP TO TELL ME THAT IT WOULD BE DELAYED. I ENDED UP CALLING THEM WEEKLY TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PROGRESS WAS. I TOOK DELIVERY 2 MONTHS LATER. THEY MAKE THEIR OWN FUTON MATTRESSES IN THEIR FACTORY AND I'M HAPPY WITH THE MATTRESSES, HOWEVER, I THINK THEY NEED TO WORK ON THEIR FRAME INVENTORY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE FOLLOW-THROUGH. THIS FRUSTRATED ME, AS ELDERS WERE STAYING WITH US AND I WAS COUNTING ON THAT FUTON. THE SHOP DID DELIVER THE MATTRESS BEFORE THE FRAME WAS READY AND THEY HAD TO SLEEP ON THE FLOOR FOR A FEW DAYS.
