They fixed some window ropes. They fixed some leaded windows, the actual leaded part.

Kevin arrived at the appointed time and replaced two cracked leaded glass panes in two of our living room windows. He also replaced a cracked glass panel in a sun room window. The work was professionally done and we are extremely pleased not only with the promptness, but also with the quality of the work. We will definitely use them again!!

I gave the guy the sizes I wanted my glass pieces cut to, written down. He confused some of the numbers and cut a couple of the glass pieces wrong. But they quickly admitted their mistake, corrected it, and gave me a can of glass cleaner for my trouble. I don't mind a mistake like that if they take responsibility and fix the problem, as they did.

Dropped off one afternoon and was completed the next day.

As you see by the date it was several years ago.  What I do remember is feeling quite comfortable with the whole situation. The women who answered the phone was pleasant and sent someone out ASAP.  The installer was professional and as we talked I could tell he had a great work ethic.  The work was done quickly without any issues.  I feel the price was fair.  I can truly say that is one of the few contractors that I have dealt with that I believe to be totally honest.  I would recommend them to anyone needing glass repair.

They did a good job. It was fast. They came to the house and did it within an hour. They cleaned up and there was not a mess.

I called and spoke to a very helpful woman who sent someone to come to my home to evaluate the need for a new window.  The following day I was called with an estimate.  I ordered the new window, which came in one week later.  The installation was done the following day.  The men who installed the window were very professional.  They clearly knew what they were doing.  They worked quickly and efficiently,  and cleaned up after themselves.  I am very pleased with the whole process, from my initial call through the installation.

Bob Lurie Glass Corp. arrived on the scheduled date and at the scheduled time to provide an estimate, as opposed to 2 other glass repair companies. Glass Pro, Inc. never returned my call, and T&L Glass Service returned my call for an estimate 2 weeks later. The replacement glass was installed on the scheduled date at the scheduled time. The workers were done in 30 minutes. The workers were friendly, knowledgeable about their work and did not create any mess.

Bob Lurie Glass is the best! They replaced the glass in two indoor wood frame windows without touching the siding on the outside. They were friendly, fast and knew what they were doing. This was a great experience. I love this company!

I closed my very old front door, apparently much harder than I meant to because the glass panel shattered. It was a Saturday afternoon and I was on my way to Chicago to see a show. This was VERY bad timing. Called Bob Lurie Glass. Debbie was an absolute doll and talked me down from hysteria and within the hour two very nice men arrived and had the front door fixed. They did a wonderful job!! They left, I drove to Chicago made it in time to have a cocktail before the curtains went up. I love these guys!!

I LOVE these guys. They were quick, efficient, friendly and not overly priced. They fixed my door and I got to Chicago right on time!

The manufacturer broke the window when they put it on the truck, so there was a slight delay, but they did call me to let me know this. The glazing was a bit sloppy and they weren't extremely friendly, which is why I gave them a "B" for professional. I've used them before and I would definitely use them again.

The cost was based of of three windows. They did everything right.

This was my third try at getting a particular brand of window replaced. The service person came and measured one half hour after I called the main shop. He was efficient and another service person came approx five days later to put in the new window. I was very happy and the service person answered other questions I had. He cleaned his work space and was very friendly and helpful.

I called a number of glass companies for this exact piece of glass (23 inch diameter round glass, 3/8 inch thick). The quotes were $120, $140, $118 (available in 1-2 weeks). Then, I called Bob Lurie Glass and they said $60 plus tax (and available in 3-4 business days). I ordered the glass. A few hours later, I called back to make sure I gave them the right dimensions (to make sure it wasn't too good to be true) Sure enough, Debbie reassured that they got the right measurements and quoted me the right price. If anyone asks me where to get glass and mirrors, I'll send them to Bob Lurie Glass every time!!

Kevin showed up on time at 8:30am, took a look right away at both the patio door and window. Window he fixed complimentary with silicone to repair the gap. The patio door he had to come back later in the day after he told me it was tinted and that Bob Lurie doesn't do tinting (I wasn't aware it was tinted, didn't know if condo assoc would allow two unmatched doors until I could get a tinter in plus I wasn't 100% sure which side door it was and Kevin had waited long enough on me trying to get answers by phone). Kevin came back as promised between 3:30 and 4:30 and put the glass in. He even cut me a piece of the tint film from the old glass so I could give it to the glass tinting company to match it. Actual cost was same as estimate, $210. Kevin also provided me with a lien waiver on the spot which I appreciated.

Had a broken pane in a dual pane kitchen window. One shop wanted $200 to come in and do the job on site. Bob Lurie glass said they could replace the glass for $45 if I could bring the frame to their shop. It was easy to pop out sliding frame by myself. I called on a Saturday morning and they asked me to bring it in before noon, they took the measurements to order new glass and called back on Tuesday to say it had arrived. I went back with the frame the following Saturday and they replaced the glass while I waited. Easy to work with, straightforward, nice work, and value for money.

Very fast service. It was no more than a few days between the time I ordered the glass and the day it was delivered. The man who delivered it cleaned it thoroughly and was careful not to scratch the desk top when he put the glass in place. Best price among the quotes I got for the job.
