+ -1 moreThey are extremely helpful and I have always had a good experience. They are knowledgeable and have what I need. I told them I would not be able to cut the wood myself and one of the employees said they usually do not do that but when I told him I did not have the equipment to make the cuts that I needed on that piece of wood, he went in and made the cuts for me. It was above and beyond great customer service. They have a wide variety of defined moldings and trims, and are very knowledgeable about their products.
Description of Work: I use Bliffert Lumber to purchase materials. I build trims, moldings, and casements.

+ -1 more$10 would have been a fair price for what I was asking. The kindness was impressive.
Description of Work: I needed a small board for a cabinetry repair. I don't have a table saw, so I asked Bliffert to cut the board I needed. When I arrived, I was directed out to the yard where an employee cut what I needed from an 8-foot board. When I went back in to the office with my 20" board, the office employee didn't know what to charge me for such a small piece. He hesitated and pulled a dollar bill from my hand. I shared my surprise at such a meager sum. But, he maintained his kind fee and sent me on my way.

+ 0 moreWe learned a lot in the process of working with the staff at Bliffert, they are quite knowledgeable. They have samples on-site so you can be sure about the look and feel of the materials. They don't encourage you to cut corners, but their prices are still very good. We were pleasantly surprised by their quick turn-around of our relatively small project and prompt delivery. We had the materials within 48 hours of placing our final order.
Description of Work: We are building a garage ourselves and we wanted to work with a local company. Dennis at Bliffert reviewed our plans, and made some suggestions for design improvements. He prepared an estimate of the materials needed, including several options for siding. Ken then prepared a cost estimate and answered additional questions. Delivery was prompt and neat.
