Buyer beware: The kitchen faucet was leaking due an old garbage disposal. He was here to assess, quote, and replace the disposal (which I supplied) in about 45 minutes. They charged me $416, that's $564.67/hr for service only!!! The plumber was professional and effective though, hence the two stars. I received a follow up call the next day to see if it was done to my satisfaction, and when asked about the price gauge the customer service person just thanked me for the feedback but offered no explanation.

I had a really bad experience with Blau Plumbing. From the very start, with a grumpy, condescending plumber at my door trying to upsell a new water main valve (that wasn't why they were called) who didn't repair my toilet properly, to contacting the Blau Office and being told that I needed to submit my dissatisfaction by email and allow "2 weeks" for a response, and finally being sent to collections before I had final resolve with Mr. Blau, I'm amazed that a business run like this can still be in business. You can find better plumbing contractors elsewhere, that have more reasonable pricing and exceptional customer service. I called Viking Plumbing to fix what Blau couldn't, and they were great!

They came out using scare tactics, telling me that everything had to be replaced. They told me that I was in danger of carbon monoxide, and sewer gas, because I'm an old lady they think they could scare. I heard of complaints from other people how they would come out for a leaking faucet and would say that you would need a whole new bathroom because they cannot find faucets that would fit the sink attached to ceramic tile.I didn't even get a price. It was mounting so fast that I didn't even ask for a total. It was terrible. They get here quickly.
