AVOID THE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!! I would leave 0 stars if I could. They do not warranty their work no matter how bad their installation is, period. They're a pass the blame company. We started the claim over a year ago. We had to be the ones who constantly called them. They tried to pass the blame to Mohawk carpet and made them send out a product inspector from that company. The problem with that is that we didn't have a problem with the carpet, we had a problem with their installation, and they tried to get Mohawk to pay for their shoty work. They left about a 7-ft long raised seam and a terrible seam repair after they're p*** poor attempt to fix their poor installation job. Janice has got to be the rudest customer service "person" I have ever dealt with. According to her, they're not responsible for making sure the surface area where they're installing the carpet is suitable for installation. Janice lives and dies by a report (that was never shown to us) about the carpet, not the installation. I'm sure this is their get out of jail card for anybody that files a complaint with them. Not a single person from their company ever came out to inspect their installers' work. Another thing that Janice said was not their responsibility. So basically, if they can't get the carpet manufacturers to cover their horrible work, they won't do anything. I'm sure Janice will reply to this review with "the Mohawk inspectors report said" and still will not take responsibility for their poor installation. Buyer be very aware, all they want is your money. They do not care about making customers happy. I know this because when I said to her, "I guess your bad reviews are pretty accurate," she replied with, "I could care less what they say." She also followed that up with "if I had to help every customer that complained, I'd be out of business." Which tells me she has gotten quite a few complaints. Check BBB and Yelp. If you like bad installation, p*** poor communication, extremely rude customer relations(Janice) and a person who could care less about anything you say and roll her eyes at you over and over(Janice), then this place is for you. You get what you pay for, and that's why they're cheap. They don't care about customer service or workmanship quality. All the care about is if the check clears. Hey Janice, stop trying to make other companies fix your company's screw ups!!

Sam and staff very helpful to start process, installers were very punctual & skilled. 3 different crews (because of differing products/projects needed), all were professional and exhibited 'quick work, high quality'. 1st experience with Best Carpet; will not be the last. Very good experience from start to finish

The whole experience was awesome from start to finish. Sam came out to measure himself and then took care of the rest after we picked out the new carpet and stain color. The installation of the carpet was done over 2 days one week and the hardwood was taken care of the following week. The workers were on time, polite, hardworking and they did such a beautiful job. our home is transformed....... I do want to mention that after the hardwood was done, we noticed a small area that was missed (our living room can lack adequate lighting on cloudy days). We called the next day and they responded immediately and it was taken care of. That is great service. We highly recommend Best Carpet and would gladly use them again if the need arises.

I have bought carpet and vinyl from Sam and Janice for both my home and business. This time I went for help with carpeting for my 90 year old Aunt. Not only did Sam do the measuring, but he helped me pick out the new carpet for her. The installers, Miguel and assistant, did a good job too. I am happy with their service and products once more.

They did a great job and I'm very happy with my new floors. Sam and his crew were very easy to work with! I definitely recommend Best Carpet and will use them again in the near future to re-carpet my basement rec room.

Sam was very helpful in the showroom and his pricing could not be beat. Both installers were very professional and left everything super clean after they were done. Love the new kitchen floor and carpet!

The carpet installers were on time, neat, quiet and respectful of my walls and baseboards.  For a minimal additional charge, they moved a few larger pieces of furniture in order to install the carpeting.  They worked endlessly until the job was completed.

We had a great experience with Best Carpets.  The installation was excellent.  There was a pattern to our carpet, I was concerned due to the pattern.  It could have gone awry if the carpet was not laid precisely.  It was and looks great.  The installers were professional, the arrived on time and finished the job when promised.  We had three bedrooms, hall and great room done.  It was quite a large job, we are very pleased with the results.

The men were very professional. They asked me several questions on how to lay it, what to do in doorways , and made suggestions on how I might want it done. I appreciated the options. The carpet looks beautiful and very rich. I appreciate all the help we got choosing the right carpet for our house and our lifestyle.

We explained what we were looking for and Sam pulled a sample. After looking at other brands and taking various color samples home....guess what? We ended up with the original one Sam pulled. He certainly knows how to "read" his customers and their needs. The order was placed. When the carpet arrived, we were called to schedule the installation. They were very accommodating and worked around our schedule. Installer arrived on time, was very efficient and did a great job. Will definitely do business with them again.

I had run all over town to the various carpet stores to find quality carpet for the lowest price I could find.   We had planned on putting our home on the market shortly after the install, so we didn't want to spend a lot of money, but we still wanted quality
carpet.  
After I explained my situation at every place I went to, I would usually be taken to some back part of the store where they would
show me 5 different carpet samples for me to choose form.  They were never even close to the color ranges we were looking for.  Most of the samples were odd colors and seemed to be of extremely cheap quality.  Nothing seemed to fit the beautiful master suite we spent a lot of time creating for someone to enjoy.  
I finally ended up at Best Carpets.  At first I was a bit reluctant to go there , as I had not heard anything about them, but
I am soo happy I did.  Not only did they have several choices for me to choose from in my color range, they seemed to understand that just because we were selling the house, that didn't mean we want a cheap job done.  They explained the process to me, and gave me several samples to take home.  Then after I had chosen the color, they sent someone over a day or two later to have a professional installer estimate the amount of carpet we would need. The carpet was then ordered and 10 days later we had it installed, and it looked amazing!  The installer they sent was very professional and curious and did a wonderful job.  There was not a knick or scratch on any of the walls or which baseboards we had just installed.  I was extremly impressed.
Because of this experience, once we are ready for carpet on our new home, I will only shop for carpet at Best Carpets.

The company name fits them perfectly!  They really are the best!  They listened to what we were looking for in a carpet (have pets) and provided multiple items that met our criteria.  They met our price for the job, were timely in their appts. to measure as well as install.  Their installers were professional.  Moving furniture carefully demonstrating respect for our items.  
Truth be known, I can't say enough good things about Best Carpet.  They outperformed any company I used in the past., and will go directly to them the next time I need carpeting.

Installer 5 hours late. (Scheduled for 8:30 a.m., arrived at 1:30 p.m.)   I lost wages (am paid by the hour) because of the delay.  I was also unable to attend a function to which I had committed that evening.  (The job took 5 hours; he left at 6:30 p.m.)



Only one installer; job really required two.  Installer damaged paint on walls, knocked pictures off the wall, and left pieces of carpet thread dangling at entrance to bathroom.  I incurred costs in having the paint job repaired by my painter.



Carpet consists of a pattern of squares.  At end of the hallway leading into the bedroom, carpet is not straight, as evidenced by the crooked alignment of the squares.  This was the biggest problem.



When I complained by phone as well as in writing, the owner came out to look at it and dismissed my concerns.  He was very rude and  treated me like I was an idiot.  I subsequently received a check for $42.50 (don't know how that amount was arrived at) marked "Customer Satisfaction."  I do not plan to cash the check; there is no "customer satisfaction."

IT WENT GREAT.  I CALLED THEM & WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS SHAWN CAME OUT & GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE.  i PICKED OUT THE CARPET & PAID HALF DOWN.  HE SAID IT WOULD TAKE A COUPLE WEEKS TO GET THE CARPET.  INSTALLATION WAS SMOOTH.  MY TENANT LOVES THE NEW CARPET.  THEY DID A GREAT JOB.

Sam, the owner, was great to work with and suggested carpeting and padding within our budget.  The installer was in and out in a day.  4 years later everything is still great and we've referred Best Carpet to many others who have also had great experiences.

One installer showed up, and I thought it was odd, that they should have at least 2, to get the job done quickly.  But to my pleasant surprise, he was able to do it all by himself; Quite the Expert! 

It only took him under 3 hours to install my carpet. And i couldn't even smell a hint of chemical! The airing out worked!

  There was something that I didnt care for, which was when removing the old padding, he neglected to tape it up in a roll, but just rolled it up and set it by the garbage cans for the garbage men to take. It rained that day, and the old padding got wet and partially collapsed ... had it been taped, it wouldve kept its' shape for the garbage men to easily grab and toss in the truck. I was surprised that he didnt dispose of it himself (took it with him in his van).

Initially had picked out carpet at another store to purchase, but had heard from friend to check out Best Carpet before deciding. Checked them out on Angie's  list and saw very favorable reviews, so decided to check them out before deciding. Outr trip to their store was very pleasant. They had lots to chose from and were very helpful in directing us to carpets in our price range and specifications. We were able to find a carpet we liked, and after coming out to measure were able to give us an estimate that matched the first place we had decided on. The people at best carpet were so nice and easy to work with that we decided to buy and install the carpet with them. The installation was done within 10 days and went smoothly. Looks Great!!

I visited the store and picked out large flooring samples that I took home. There was no deposit required; just my contact information. While in the store I made an appointment to have the owner, Sam, visit my home to discuss options. He helped me choose from the samples and took measurements. I later called the store to schedule the installation. The installer, a different Sam, came and installed the new floor in the kitchen the first day and returned to do the bathroom floor the 2nd day. The job was done perfectly. Sam did all of the cleanup. There was nothing to do but enjoy my new floors. I plan to use Best Carpets to re-carpet the rest of the house.

DO: Have your refrigerator as empty as possible to make it easier to move. Sam places pads under the fridge, connects them to a compressor, and literally floats the refrigerator, stove, and other non-wheeled appliances out of the kitchen.

We were given great advice at the store, and a next day estimate. We were impressed that the sales rep tried to plan the project so as to have as little waste as possible, saving us money and limiting what went into a landfill. In addition,it was comparable to other places we had been for price, so we chose Best, supporting a local company. We were VERY impressed with the installer that came. Being concerned with fumes from the carpet, we asked if it could be opened up in the warehouse before it was installed. Best complied with our request and had it opened for three days before install. Even the installer said the carpet odor wasn't as strong as he was used to having when he installed carpet. This alone is worth going to an independent company that can be very flexible for the customer.
