We went back and forth on phone calls a few times before connecting, but Bob was very considerate in assessing cracks as those which really needed to be repaired in contrast to those that structurally weren't a problem, " because crack is what stucco does." He found a couple places where chunks had come off that we had not seen and made perfect repairs.  He also fixed a couple places by the garage where a painter had previously just slapped in some plaster.  He's very skilled.

Bob came over very soon after calling him for an estimate. Bob was a very punctual  and a polite person to work with. He listened to my concerns and than proceeded to  up with a plan. He is very knowledgeable and explains the work that needs to be done. Since this room had been semi started years ago, it was a little more problematic. But Bob explained how he would proceed and why he would do it this way. The ceiling needed special attention to start off with. Because there was lathe up there already from many years ago, he wanted to use metal lathe over this to assure no cracks would form in the future. A special bonding material also had to be used on the ceiling. Blue board was used on the side walls and than everything received a coating of plaster and then finish plaster. Bob made great efforts to keep the dust under control and the house clean. The stairs were covered with cloth and the bedroom had been covered as well.  Plastic was used to cover the doorway to help keep everything clean.  His cleanup was wonderful!!  I am very pleased with the outcome of this job. The plastered walls look beautiful. Bob had his son working with him on this job. Both of these men are very easy to work with and would definitely have them back if I ever needed help again.

This job took approximately 6 days and was completed within the timeframe given to me.

I needed cracks repaired in a bedroom of an 80 year old house. The room was already empty as I was going to also refinish the floor after plaster repair & painting. I received an estimate and a date for the work to be scheduled. Bob & his crew showed up when they were supposed to & did an excellent job repairing the plaster. I have used Bartelak Plastering several times before & their work is consistently good with a great work ethic.

I was extremely happy with the work and how quickly he was able to fit me in.

He is very experienced and very skilled. He is a second generation plaster guy and very competitive on the price. He is a great guy to work with. He is really an expert and it is hard to find people with his expertise and experience. I would recommend him to anyone who has an interior plaster job or exterior stucco job and they want someone who has the experience, the rare skill and expertise. They have to use Bartelak. I intend to use him for some plaster work.

It was a big job and took 3 days.  They were very careful with our things and did a great job cleaning up.  It looks great and we are very happy with the job they did.

From start to finish it was a pleasure to work with Bob Bartelak.
Hands down one of the most professional and dedicated service person we have had the pleasure to work with in a long time. Bob is truly a craftsman at his profession. Our job started on a Tuesday and was completed the following Thursday exactly on time. Bob got back to me within a day- setting up a time slot to come and give me a estimate. He was always on time. He covered and quot;EVERYTHINGand quot; and I do mean everything! From my back door where he came in- he layered canvas tarp, throughout the house, into our bedroom and into our master bath where much of the work was to be done. I have never had anyone care about and quot;myand quot; house the way he did. A+ there. The work was completed and was perfect! I am so happy with my new repairs. I was told by someone that Bob Bartelak was the and quot;best plaster repairmanand quot; in Milwaukee and they were right! I would highly recommend Bob to anyone.

It's so nice to find people that truly care about your project, the outcome of their work, and how the homeowner feels about the work done.

He did an excellent job. He came on time. He did the work for several days because he put a layer off and then come back and he placed coating and everything. He did the work he was contracted to do and I was very pleased. We had a new back door put in and the gentleman that did it was actually the person that worked on our siding outside and he put outdoor caulking around the door that he put in. And when we went to remove it, the whole wall came off. So this gentleman came in and repaired the huge piece of plaster that had come off. That's a long explanation but he did a really, really fine job.
