Barb's Salvage

I can't recommend Barb Brunker, Barb's Salvage. I hired Barb to remodel my home because I knew her, wanted to give my business to a female entrepreneur and in a hard sell told me that she would do the best work for the best prices in town. On her Facebook page, she claims that she is fully insured and that "The job isn't done until the customer is happy." What I got was poorly done work, much of which had to be completely redone. Barb hired workers who did not have the skill or experience to do their jobs properly. Her installers did not snap the laminate flooring together properly so I had to all of the flooring throughout me home pulled up and reinstalled. She hired a subcontractor, Zig's Heating & Air Conditioning, who walked off the job fully paid but uncompleted and who now doesn't return my calls. Barb also walked off the job fully paid, but with considerable work unfinished. An expensive ceiling fan and screen door I paid for were not installed and are not at my property. There were constant delays and excuses. When there was a problem with the job, she didn't return my calls. When Barb walked off the job, completely paid, she handed me an invoice for nearly $10,000 for labor and landscaping I had already paid for. That invoice also included over $2,000 for undefined materials without receipts. Overall, Barb Brunker, Barb's Salvage did a substandard job at exorbitant rates.
