Alfa Flower & Wedding Shop

August 13: Flowers delivered in late afternoon (I was on my way to an engagement in Milwaukee and did not take arrangement out of packaging).
August 14: Removed arrangement from packaging, placed it on towel and wiped it dry before placing arrangement on table.
August 15: Discovered water had seeped out of crack in vase, flowers dead, and table had a large white ring under vase.
August 16: Called florist and was told the owner was on vacation and she would call me on Monday, August 22.
August 22,23,and 24.  No call from owner.
August 25:  I called owner.  Expecting the owner to offer some apology for not calling back and expressing some concern for the damage to my table, I was caught speechless when she said she had gotten the message to call, but she felt I would have no "proof" that the shop was responsible and, therefore, she decided she would wait to see if I would call back.  She went on to say that she thought I was at fault because I put the vase on the table when it was leaking....she couldn't give me a reason why I would do that.  No matter what I said she kept repeating these two thoughts.  The only time she showed any willingness to go beyond this line of thinking is when I suggested the willingness to pay half the cost of  removing the white ring.  Of course, I was to gather all the information from furniture restorers and get back to her with that information.  After the information was made available she wanted to send her delivery/handy-man out to look at the table before determining her course of action.   
August 25-29:  Collected information from restorers and internet regarding removal of the white ring.  None of the restorers were willing to give a ball park price without seeing the table, but told me it would probably be no less than $100.00.  One even wanted a certified check for $100.00 before he would set an appointment to look at the table.  This morning, on a whim, I used one of the methods given on the internet to remove  white rings and was successful. Unfortunately for me I did not even have a picture of the table with the ring, so who's to know it was there except a friend and myself.  Now all that remains is a cracked vase and a vision in my brain of dead flowers with a Happy Birthday balloon floating above it. 

I ordered a plant to celebrate my daughters new job and knew she was a plant person, not flowers. The plant that I picked out online was surpassed by the actual plant delivered. It was a hit! I would use this place again.

This florist was highly recommended for customizable floral designs. All of the nationwide floral companies used mostly similar designs. We were looking for something more individualized to suit our husband and father. Boy, did they deliver! The designer., Mark, took our suggestions for various tropical flowers, including red ginger, kangaroo toes, birds of paradise and gorgeous lime green with deep maroon edges, calla lilies and curly willow and turned this into the most amazing display. Our jaws literally dropped when we saw it! The flowers were so fresh and aromatic, making a truly unique arrangement. (I only wish our photos could capture how truly beautiful it was, but we're not very good photographers.) I will certainly use them for a

After several other disappointing wedding appointments with florists, we decided to give Alfa a try. After our initial consultation with Katie, my daughter got into my car, burst into a huge grin and said, " I am so excited!  I finally met someone who gets what I want!"  I had a very happy daughter and I too felt Katie knew just how to coordinate what we wanted.  Each visit or call was always met with "we can do that".  They were a joy to work with.  She wasn't pushy, nor tried to sell us flowers in excess.  I stopped by the day before the wedding and got tears in my eyes, the bouquets were so stunning. We received many compliments on all the flowers.  We paid extra to have their wedding service and it was worth every penny!  Last thing you need to be doing is finding everyone and pin on corsages and boutonnieres.  They placed the church flowers and had everyone wearing what they needed to.   I felt their prices were reasonable and their entire shop was very friendly & always bustling ( a good sign).  I would highly recommend this florist for all your floral needs.

I was a little leery of ordering on-line, but had no problems at all. Any time in the process, I could call and ask a question if need be.  I believe the delivery charge was a little high ($7.95), but otherwise have no complaints.

I would like to nominate this company for the page of happiness! They are one of the best service providers I have ever worked with. The consultation process for developing the flower arrangements was extremely smooth and helpful. Mary was extremely easy to work with. She provided helpful advice, was patient, and responsive to my preferences. The flowers were fresh and beautiful and arranged as expected. There were no problems with the delivery. I purchased several other items from the store including wedding programs and a unity candle. Mary also made up some flowers for my hair. Every time I visited the store, the staff were pleasant and helpful. They went out of their way to answer questions and provided good advice and extraordinary service.

WE HAVE USED ALFA FOR LONG DISTANCE FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS (FUNERALS, B''DAYS, ETC) AND MY HUSBAND BOUGHT ME A BEAUTIFUL ORCHID FROM ALFA. I HAVE CALLED ASKING QUESTIONS ON ORCHIDS AND GARDENIAS AND MY QUESTIONS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ANSWERED BY KNOWLEDGEABLE, CHEERFUL PROFESSIONALS.
