ABI ALL BUDGET IMPROVEMENTS

I was a victim of a sewer back-up problem. Water was backed-up in my basement and I couldn't clean it up. I couldn't find anyone to come clean up the sewer and water problem in my basement. I contacted Bob Unger as a last resort. He messed up my basement, and he destroyed my basement. I had a finished basement with wood paneling, flooring, cabinets and my life's possesions. He broke down my cabinets and hauled away my possesions. He then pressure washed my finished basement (including my computerized washer and dryer). He hosed down the inside of my hot-water heater. I've been told that the regulator knob is destroyed and now the emergency turn-off for my gas hot-water heater and furnace no longer heater. The furnace was new and needs to be replaced. He said that he would mop up the sewage and remove the paper particals and sanitize the area. Instead, he just pressure washed my basement. The amount of damage from this man is over $20,000.00. The entire basement needs to be gutted and re-done. He even left raw sewage in my basement that were found by my claims adjuster. He destroyed my cabinets and bathroom vanity. When I asked him why he did this, he claimed that I didn't need all the "junk". He never returned my cabinets or other possesions. He claimed to be doing this service for free but at the end of the work, he demanded a check for $400. The next day, a woman brought me a document from him claiming that I needed to pay him $2400 (claiming it to be an invoice) and he worked 32 man hours. He actually only worked four hours with his family and a disabled man. I told him that I would not pay him for his services which ultimately destroyed my home. He then started calling me. He called seven times before I answered. He still claimed I needed to pay him and also used profanity when telling me he would put a lean on my house. He said in the document, that he had removed my possession (which I never asked him to) and removed all destroyed items (which there were only a few items that were bed liners). He also claimed that I was informed that I would be charged $2000, even though in person he claimed that I would be charged $20,000. He also claimed in a document that my $400 was only a down payment. I have since found out that he is not licensed to work in the city of Milwaukee. The claims adjuster came a few days later and saw the damage. The adjuster stated that it was insurance fraud. A friend of mine checked into court records and found that this man and his company has 49 law suits containing his name.

The work was not what I asked for, but what he wanted to do. I would never recommend him and would only use him again if I lost my mind. He is extremely expensive and does poor work.
