Our sump pump basically exploded in the basement and leaked all over our rugs. They needed a deep cleaning. It went really well. They came, pick it up, cleaned it, and brought it back. The rug smells great and they were incredible professional. I hope I didn't need to use them again for a busted something, but if I need them I certainly plan on using them and I most certainly recommend them.

All personnel were friendly, polite, helpful, educational - without ever being condescending.  I have had past encounters from other establishments having to endure condescension to the point of rudeness and even having to pay a higher price.  I would call A. Pethke for service in a heartbeat in the future.

Called and got estimate about a week ago. Was told tuneup costed $66.95 and included oil change and blade sharpening. I asked if the new air filter and spark plug was included and I was told it was. I dropped the mower off and the guys behind the counter were very polite and attentive. I was told it would be ready on 4/26 and if the cost was going to be over $100 for some reason, they would call me before fixing. I called on 4/26 to see if the mower was reedy and it was. Upon my arrival, the invoice was not ready. They got the invoice and I saw that they charged me for a spark plug, air filter, oil disposal, gas, oil, and oil ring bringing the goal to $96.75. I would have brought my own filter, oil, and spark plug as I had these at home if I knew they were going to charge me for them. I mean really.....oil change included usually includes disposal fees and new oil. It just seems to me that more and more small businesses are nickel and dimming people to death. By the doing this it brought my total up $20 more than originally quoted. I asked about this and was told that the labor for the oil change was included, not the supplies. They also charged me $5 for gas,really? Five bucks! You can get a gallon and a half for that! Also the guy at the counter when I picked it up was not either of the original two that were there when I dropped it off otherwise I may have argued a little more about some of these costs. It appears that the mower was serviced well, I really won' t be able to tell until I use it for a couple months. Over all they are better than Bill's on 13th and Layton.

I preferred to do business with them, as they are in my neighborhood. They are dealers for landscaping and snow equipment. They were extremely knowledgeable. They were fast, efficient and trustworthy. I will use them again in the future.

Dropped off lawnmower, picked it up.

I'm a first time home and mower owner. So I left the mower in the garage over winter with gas in it and nothing added to keep it from freezing. Pethke is great. Nice family-owned business. They helped me get the mower out of the car, and put it back in. There was a long wait for it to get repaired because it was during peak season (this was in June), but they made that clear up front, and were able to get it repaired sooner than estimated. Very friendly, competent, honest, and reasonable.

THIS COMPANY HAD ALSO SERVICED MY FATHER-IN-LAWS LAWN AND GARDEN EQUIPMENT FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND HE RECOMMENDED THEM TO US. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED.
