MC GARRY'S PRO ROOFING

The experience started off pretty well. The McGarry work crew showed up within a few days of when they were promised.   The job seemed to go well and every thing looked perfect except for a couple of hours of finish work yet to be done.   This finish work took many calls and many days to get done.   When this finish work was done I paid for the job in Full since I was satisfied with how everything looked. Paying In Full  was my big mistake.   The first time it rained there was a leak.  After a few calls, McGarry Roofing  did some chalking around the chimney.  When it rained the roof still leaked.   After many more calls and promises McGarry finally showed up and put a collar around the chimney and did more chalking.   When it rained the roof still leaked.   After this McGarry quit answering his phone and did not return any of my calls.  I ran into his wife and told her what was going on.   She said "He will call you tonight".   He did call and sent  one of his crew to look at things and do some more chalking.   After this my roof still leaked.   This got us back to not answering my calls.   I ran into McGarry's  wife again and she gave me his cell phone number.  This got me no where.          I talked to my lawyer about what was going on.  The lawyer checked the court records and found active cases and judgments against McGarry Roofing and encouraged me to not file suit but to keep trying to get my leak fixed without going to court.
         Another contractor applied some sealant in some spots and the leak stopped for several months.  This contractor gave me an estimate for a permanent fix.  The cost $2102.00. 
          Now in 2013 my roof  still leaks when the snow is melting on a warm day.
