I had replace the usual items for a leaking exterior faucet but it still continued to leak. After some research I learned that it would need replacement which was more than I could deal with. Access to the faucet was thru an interior finished wall.
The work was done in a very professional manner--neat, clean, timely.

I was told that the rate was $99/hour and that Chris of Stahl Plumbing would be there at 4 P.M..
Chris came from maybe three miles away and I drove in from nearly forty miles, leaving my job 1.5 hours early to ensure that I was on time.
Stahl Plumbing wasn't there. Fifteen minutes lapsed. Finally I called them and he called back saying that he was on his way.So work began half an hour later than planned.Chris did excellent work but took two phone calls while on the premises going outside for one of them.
When he left, he did not discuss charges or leave an invoice. He explained that this would be emailed later.Three days later I received the invoice. It did not include a time breakdown and included an undisclosed travel charge he had never revealed when discussing rates of $25 for a paltry distance he drove to be here, late. The total charge did not account for his lateness, his not communicating when he was late, nor the calls he took while on premises.
While the work was very much top notch, the communication, invoicing, and timeliness was certainly not. The rating on pricing reflects the undisclosed travel charge and the multiple phone calls not reflected on the invoice.

Excellent experience. Chris came over soon after we phoned him, and we talked about options. Scheduled the work, and it was completed quickly and professionally. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Came out and gave fair estimate. Answered all of my questions. More knowlegeble than a lot of plumbers I 've talked to in the past. Got right back to me with some information I'd asked for. Had a great experience. They spent extra time researching water filters to get me exactly what I needed. Great service.

Chris did a great job in assessing what was wrong with our water softener and recommending a replacement. The new softener is very efficient and hardly uses any salt as compared to the unit it replaced. Also, Chris' work is very thorough and things like the placement of the softener and the routing of the pipes was really carefully planned.

The project was fantastic. Work was fast and the finished plumbing worked perfectly. Chris was very considerate in the correct placement of faucet and drain points for not only the initial installation but also for any changes we or future home owners will make in the future. As a sometimes handyman I really respect this type of work as being far superior to efforts that just 'get it done'.
