"We can't thank you enough [Member Name Removed] for your kind review of the Parks Electric Team. We strive to be the best in the Madison area and are ecstatic that we were able to help provide you with your needs. Thank you for writing such an awesome review! David Parks"
"We apologize for any issues you are having but this is the first time we are aware of any issue. We are more then happy to fix or correct any issues. When this was completed everything was checked and confirmed by both the home owner and the installer that both parties are satisfied. We encourage you to adjust your review as its a bold statement to say that we took your money and ran. We are a company that takes pride in all our projects and to see a happy customer at the end of the project. Customer referrals are how we obtain 95% of all our business. Thank you for a review good or bad as it helps us develop our company for the future but at the same time incorrect info only hurts."
"As stated on your other review, we are a company that relies 95% on its customers referrals. This additional work that was requested was sent via email. As a company we have started following up our emailed proposals with a old fashioned phone call. It is assumed that the email never reached you or the incorrect email was used. We apologize for this. Thank you for a review good or bad as it helps us develop our company for the future."
He showed up the day and time he was scheduled.
Dave needed to cut holes in our walls so he laid out a covering to protect our floors. In no time he was finished and the result was exactly what we wanted and expected. I inquired about the cost and a recommendation on installing surround sound and Dave explained different options that may work for us.
I would recommend Parks Electric for any electrical or audio/video projects you may need completed.
Highly recommended, and I will contact them again in the future for low voltage switching / home automation work.
"We were contracted to wire a 3 season porch by Quigley Deck and Fence. They were the General Contractor, we were one of his subcontractors. We gave him a price to wire the fixtures, receptacles, and switches. When it came time to do the work he instructed us on where he wanted the switches, receptacles and fixtures installed. The General Contractor is the one in charge. When you are a subcontractor you follow the instructions of the General Contractor. The General Contractor is supposed to do all of the communications with the owners. In fact most General Contractors specifically say they do not want their subcontractors to have conversations with the customer. As it turned out the General Contractor was, as his name implied, a Deck and Fence company. He had all kinds of issues with the building inspector and the job drug on for several months while he made the Building Code Corrections to the structure. During this time he had several of his employees/subcontractors either quit or were fired. I know the owners were becoming very frustrated with the progress and started to blame everyone on site for the pace of the job. The General Contractor never informed us of the changes for the location of the switches. I found out about it when the owners called me directly. We immediately made the changes at “NO CHARGE” and the owners said they were happy with the wall switch and remote control arrangement. There were no more communications after we reworked the switches. We are not mind readers. So this was all news to me when 5 months later I receive this notice."
The work took 90 minutes and seems to have been done well. The worker who installed our lights was very quiet and didn't seem eager to answer questions. But he seemed competent at his work, and he got everything done as expected, so I'd rather have that than an outgoing person who's not as competent.
The work cost less then I expected based on work with other electricians.
