This is the second experience I've had with Dunn's and BOTH of them have been EXCELLENT. You want an honest mechanic? Dunn's. You want an excellent mechanic? Dunn's. In a nutshell, they are courteous, customer-friendly and consummately professional. I take recommendations very seriously and Dunn's deserves the EXCELLENT I gave them. Try them. I had an excellent experience there. The staff are all excellent. The work was completely very promptly. They're a good service.

We use them for regular service such as oil change and checkups. We stay with them because of the quality of the work and the dependability and we  get personalize attention.

Dunns import was able to provide services for us for our Mercedes-Benz that was much better than the dealer could ever provide. The dealer's Prices were much higher and provided no warranties on very expensive airbags we needed. Dunn's Import was able to provide the parts cheaper and with a lifetime warranty. We will certainly do all our Mercedes business with them in the future. In addition, this provider was able to help our daughter put new headlights on to her Subaru. We felt that the headlights that came with the Impreza were not Bright enough at night. Dunn's Import was able to provide better headlights for her, and also spent time providing her with some good sound information about owning her first car. As a parent, I really appreciated the one to one attention and information my daughter was given. We will certainly continue to use this provider for all of our import car needs.

I didn't use this provider, sent a request of what I needed completed and they were quick to give me a rough estimate, I will use them again the next time I am looking for work.

Everything went great. Got the new car I wanted and sold my old Volvo at a fair price.

Highly knowledgeable on Mercedes maintenance and repair; better than most authorized Mercedes dealers.  Also one of those very rare mechanics you can tell; check it out and do whatever it needs; and you don't have to worry about unnecessary work being done.
We were lucky to find Dunns after just moving to Madison.

Everything went as scheduled, including ride to work and pickup afterwards.

They are very accommodating as far as getting your tire in and they are very good at explaining what is wrong and giving you an estimate and that piling on at additional costs explaining the pros and cons of doing the fix.

They were great but they were somehow pricey. Nevertheless, I would still use them again in the future because they still are very good.

They are a family owned business and have personal service.  They don't do service on your car that you don't need.  They help you plan for the future when it comes to your vehicle's needs.

They are excellent. They are the best I've ever had. They pick up my car for me if I need them to. They do excellent work and they are cheaper than the dealer. I will absolutely continue using them.

A dealer had recommended we replace the radiator on our car to resolve a leak and replace break pads.  Having used Dunn's in the the past, I brought the car to Dunn's knowing they could provide these services at high quality and a cheaper price than the dealer.  Dunn's took care of the breaks and advised me that the radiator leak was really a bit of seapage and not impactful (fluid level wasn't being affected nor were drips falling from the car). As such, a radiator replacement would be an unnecessary expense.  Dunn's provided information that dealer did not that allowed me avoid an unnecessary, costly repair.    Dunn's also made it easy by quickly giving me a ride home after I dropped off the car and having my car ready within a couple of hours.

They offer top-quality service, have an excellent knowledge of cars, and are reliably and consistently awesome!

Dunn's is great. My warning light came on one evening while I was visiting Madison from out of state. When I called the next morning they squeezed me in later that afternoon even though they were booked. When they did the computer scan, nothing was wrong so they sent me on my way with a bill for only half an hour of labor, which they could have rounded up to a full hour. Their diagnosis was correct, I haven't had a problem with the car since. The friendliness & honesty at Dunn's makes them above the rest. They also let me know that when I got home I should have the belts changed because of the mileage on the car. I thank them for helping to keep my engine alive and well! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I highly recommend them. They do a good job and they are within the ballpark. We bought a lot of tires from them.

He's very honest. He doesn't treat you like you're stupid. Jeff goes above and beyond and will go out of his way to make sure you're taken care of.

My first experience with Dunn's was with the turbos on my Audi A6. I usually take my car to the dealer but for some reason I decided to get a second opinion on a very expensive repair. The dealer said that I needed the turbos serviced and it would cost $6000. Dunn's took a look and said the breather valve was stuck and replaced it for $600. That sold me. The recent repair went in for normal service and an oil change but they found a number of things that needed attention. They quoted over $1000 but they came in a little cheaper. But that isn't the reason for writing this report. I live on the far side of town almost 30 miles away. I dropped my car off on Tuesday and because the parts took longer than they estimated, the job took all day Tuesday and Wednesday. Jason, understanding that I was without a car for longer than I expected, expedited the job and dropped my car off at my home saving me a great deal of time and inconvenience. I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing automotive repair. They are honest, fair priced, and dependable.

Everyone there is extremely knowledgeable about cars and they always thoroughly explain what services should be completed and why. They go out of their way to help get your vehicle fixed while sticking to a budget. They often alert me to issues that we should keep an eye on but don't need to be addressed right away. They clearly value their customers and aren't trying to milk you of your cash. I will continue to have my autos serviced by Jason and his crew for as long as possible. I can't recommend them enough.

As always, they performed the work well and on time. Dunn's is a professional, honest and capable auto servicer. They charge a little more, but it's worth it. They stand behind their work and do not perform unnecessary repairs.

Our experience couldn't have been better. When we explained the problem we had been having, Jason indicated that he didn't feel it was a turbo problem but we shoud bring the car in. After his technicians went over the car thoroughly they determined it was not a turbo problem at all but a blockage of the breather valve which was easily fixed. The car has been running like a top ever since and instead of paying $6000 we got a 90% discount from our dealer estimate and paid $600. Needless to say, we will never take this car back to the dealer again. We have been told that these older Audi's are excellent cars if you can find a good independent mechanic and now we have.
