I found Blue Plate Catering very easy to work with. Their on-line menu with pricing was easy to understand. My phone calls were returned promptly. The food was very good, excellent coleslaw! They arrived at the planned time and had everything set up before our event started. We had the picnic lunch which they grilled at their site. There were plenty of condiments and the side dishes were large enough to serve everyone, even the last person had plenty of food. I would definitely use this caterer next year for our annual luncheon.

We had Tim come out to survey the kitchen before the brunch. He was very professional and easy to work with and put my mind at ease at to where everything was to be placed. He answered every question I had to further relax my nerves about all the wedding events--I knew this brunch was in good hands. We wanted the brunch for at least 50--complete with everthing--and ordered a 1/2 salmon. I called early in the week to say we would have about 45. Again, no problem. They arrived early Sunday morning and set everything up and were gone by the time guests arrived. Kept thinking I should do SOMETHING besides getting out of the way! They had it covered down to the stirers for coffee. The food was wonderful, hot and cold as served and people loved it. I had leftovers and one guest took alot to the homeless shelter and many guests took leftovers--nothing was wasted and it was all delicious guests also loved taking them home. Nothing was wasted. I was most impressed with the fact that they covered EVERY detail from margarine packets to reg and decaf coffee, sweetener an d sugar. It was worth every penny and I would definately use them and recommend them.

There weren't too many caterers in our area and the ones that were there were pretty good. There were only 3 that we considered in the Madison area. Blue Caterers is the good ones; although, we don't have any complaints with the one we looked at. The bill was paid by many people. The food was really good and fine. They were on time. They set things up. The people that were helping us choose the menu were very knowledgeable. We have no complaints. They cleaned up as well. We stacked everything up in the corner because it was a multi-use facility and they were going to pick it up the next day, which was fine with everybody. They provided plates and utensils. They have a little worming business and they had everything. The menu was easy; we could pick anything we wanted. It was either a meal or a little 1,2,3 order kind of things. The price was comparable. The quality was great and everybody was happy with the food.

They ain't cheap, but the quality of the food was excellent. They came and departed on time and responded to calls and e-mails promptly before the event. There were no slip ups or stutters. Everything was carried out in a highly professional and efficent manner. I suppose one gets what one pays for. I would highly recommend this company.

They did a fabulous job. The service was good, the food was delicious, and the delivery man was pleasant to work with. I highly recommend them.
