Jay was helpful and knowledgeable right from the start. I wasn't sure if powder coating would be what I needed and he showed me other auto parts he was currently working on for other customers and explained the process. The bars needed to be metal blasted before he could begin the process. He explained he could blast them, however, another client had just brought in bars that had been blasted by a metal fabricator. Jay recommended taking them to the other place since they would be able to do them faster and probably less expensively. He phoned during the week to ask if I wanted an additional layer, zinc primer, for roughly $50 which would further protect the bars from getting nicked on rocks. I told him I was okay without since I wasn't planning on doing a lot of off-roading. The bars where done in a week. When I went to pick them up, Jay said he had been asking around with some friends who build rock crawlers. They had recommended the zinc primer so he went ahead and did it for me and didn't charge me, just because he felt better about the end product.
