A Better Home is a NARI and Chrysalis Award-winning, family owned, design-build company specializing in old, funky residential remodeling and high-efficiency new construction in the greater Madison area. Our in-house interior designer can guide through remodeling or building the home that suits all of your needs and desires, while our highly skilled tradesmen turn those plans into your reality.

Services we offer
We offer consultation, and building design for your new home or remodeling projects. We are a design-build company, dining, interior design, mudroom & laundry or whole home renovations with room additions., skilled carpentry and subcontracting of the mastered trades (ie. plumbing and electrical). Our forte is remodeling involving more than a single room, so we can help with planning and budgeting needs. During the construction phase we'll provide the project management, such as kitchen

It went well. There were a few things they needed to come back and fix. Great at helping me pick out colors, tile, hardwear, lights, granite and cabinet. Also had a few good ideas for rearranging the bathroom that didn't end up working out.
All in all, good job, pleasant people.

If you are looking to remodel any area of your home, give them a call. They have an amazing book of before and after photos. Pretty soon we'll be in that book!! They've also won many awards in their industry. Ask them to see photos of their castle bathroom -- one of the many projects for which they received awards.
Jeff and Michelle know what they're doing, they know which companies to call for their various projects, such as flooring, countertops, windows, etc. And, if something goes wrong during your project, they'll deal with it. Promptly and efficiently. And easily. They only utilize professional and excellent suppliers, and they pass on their knowledge to their clients. Therefore you - their client -- benefit from their very high standards. Your house will reflect this as well. We now have an absolutely amazing kitchen and bathroom. We feel as though we've moved somewhere else!! Hire them.
