Well I never claimed to be a mechanic hence taking it to a garage. But I can turn a wrench. So I removed the half axle /cv joint boot only to find cv joint grease pour out of the boot, my first question was simple..how did the magic man mechanic get the used and abused watery substance to stay in the boot while he replaced the boot ?? Well I asked him AFTER I had my keys in hand of course -and he (a little too quickly I might add) informed me that it was not part of his job to inspect cv /half axle lube. Really I said.. And just how much MORE money do I need to donate in order for a mechanic and I certainly use that loosely to pay attention to detail?? Bottom line ...do what you like... As for me, I am convinced that the transmission in my car is my original transmission.. I will post proof with a video of the passenger side boot and I Welcome commits regarding "how a magic man swaps tranny's without removing AXLE'S" .

All the staff is always friendly, they work to get to know the customer just as much as the car they are working on. a lot of places like to over estimate or overcharge for something that was wrong with the vehicle that didn't even need attention, not auto jockeys.

We knew there was a problem with the brakes, they thought they could just clean and lube a stuck part but the pads crumbled and needed replacing. They showed us the parts so we had a better understanding.

They called us in a reasonable time frame to tell us what they found and got permission to move ahead with the repairs. Informed us when truck would be finished to minimize our downtime.

They are always very professional. They give you an estimate before they do the work. 90% of the time, the actual bill is lower than the estimate they gave. I will continue to use them in the future.
