First of all, this job applies to a second home in Northern Wisconson. I'm usually in Milwaukee. So far, I have never been dissapointed in Mr. Altmans service. He has reliably shown up to plow the driveway. I really depend on him because the big propane truck needs to get in to fill my propane tank or my furnace won't work. Once, William went above and beyond the call of duty. While he was plowing he noticed that the temp gauge in my window read pretty low. He called me to tell me this and sure enough, my furnace had quit. This is particularily meaningful to me as this is a second home and there was no way I would have known this if someone didn't call me. Don't tell William, but he is unbelievalbly cheap! I believe he charges $26 to plow my drive. I've never been good at estimating, but it is a long driveway. You can't see the house from the road. Mr. Altman's son Steve does plowing too. He is excellent in removing snow. To be accurate, I know they charge more if there is a really big snow fall, like last winter I think I paid about double but that was for the huge 18 inches that dropped. I'm very satisfied with Altmans and would highly recommend them. I have not used them for other landscaping but my neighbor had them deliver soil/dirt and had no complaints and in fact just hired them for plowing since they have turned into snow birds.
