Oleg and his crew were efficient, professional, and friendly. His slight Ukrainian accent and friendly Spanish-speaking roofing dog, Nacho, made the project seem international.

A couple of winters have gone by and I was concerned. Oleg Konovchenko, the owner, was back hear 3 times to try and address my concerns. There was leaking between the facia board and gutter that built up in ice being formed on the side of the house in winter months. He would address the problem by doing some caulking but that really didn't address the problem. The final straw happened around September of this year. I was watching TV in my living room and a small piece of something fell from the ceiling above my bay window. I turned on a light to see that there were multiple spots of blistering caused by wetness. I called Mr. Konovchenko and asked him to inspect problem. He did and said it was caused by leakage of the flashing that had to be pulled away and reinstalled with the new roof. He did caulk so the leak stopped but claimed that wasn't his fault. Since we had been going back and fourth with the overall installation of the roof and I really know nothing about it I advised him that I was going to contact a third party to inspect installation. He agreed that would be a good idea. I contacted the shingle manufacturer and they put me in touch with a guy in my area who has been trained by them. This guy was nice enough to come over and have a look see. He wasn't on the roof a very long time. He came down and reported that there were missing starter shingles, that there was missing ice and water shield or it wasn't installed properly and not all of the old roof was removed. I do have a written statement confirming this. I contacted Mr. Konovchenko, explained what was reported to me and asked what he was going to do about it. I do not want to repeat what he started shouting and then he hung up. I knew that Roofing Guys had a high rating on Milwaukee's BBB. As I am sure you know a the dialogue that took place is shared there resulting in no action. The person who examined the installation and workmanship, referred by the shingle company, has stated that the entire roof should be ripped off and redone. He only listed what he was able to see in a a few minutes and has learned that when things like this happen there are other problems under the shingles that can't be seen. I have also learned that part of the shingle companies warranty is invalid due to the poor installation.

Oleg was able to get us the 3D shingles we wanted in the color we wanted. Installation was quick, and he was prompt to answer calls during work hours. We also had a big problem with chipmunks getting into our roof and woodpeckers attacking our chimneys. He was able to fix the damage and cover all of the areas with aluminum trim to prevent re-occurrence. We haven't heard any chipmunks rattling around in our roof and can finally sleep at night. I would highly recommend Roofing Guys. We ended up with peace and quiet over our heads at a reasonable price.

MR OLEY DID WHAT HE PROMISED TO DO AND HE DID IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. ROOFING GUYS WAS ON TIME EVERY DAY UNTIL THE JOB WAS DONE, THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND REASONABLE IN PRICE. I WILL RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHER PEOPLE.

THE ROOFERS WERE VERY NICE. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND WORKED VERY LONG HOURS TO GET THE JOB DONE. I WOULD HAVE THEM AGAIN.

ACCESS TO ICE WATER AND A COLD BEER AT THE END OF EACH DAY NOT REQUESTED, BUT APPRECIATED.
