The Great Frame Up

Overall, the framed pictures look good for the most part. The price after a coupon was "used" seemed expensive but I don't have much else to compare it to since this is only the second time we had framing done and it was done here previously. One problem is that it took a month to complete the project. A male from the store (the owner?) called once to apologize for the wait when it was ready. Of course when I asked for a price adjustment for the wait, the woman at the store (co-owner?) appeared to not like that I asked that question and she placed blame on their supplier. It may very well be the supplier's fault but I didn't hire the supplier. The second problem was when I asked to see the custom-made framing that I ordered to obviously make sure that it is correct/undamaged before I leave the store, she made a comment about it being wrapped up (it is wrapped in cardboard and in a plastic bag that is taped closed). I got the impression that it is too much to ask to look at the $538.56 custom-made non-returnable product before I leave the store. Maybe she was already put off because I asked for a discount because of the wait. I think it is common sense to look at a special order product before you leave a store. The product is fine. It's the lack of customer service that will stop me from coming here. Who orders a custom-made product and doesn't look at it?

I WAS SO PLEASED WHEN I STOPPED BY THIS STORE. I FIGURED I WOULD HAVE TO PAY SOME FEE, MAYBE $20, SINCE THEY HAD NOT DONE THE ORIGINAL FRAME, BUT THEY WERE HAPPY TO DO IT FOR FREE. I ALSO STOPPED BY A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS, AN EXTREMELY BUSY TIME, BUT EVERYONE AT THE STORE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND KIND. I WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN TO HAVE A PICTURE FRAMED. THEY APPEARED TO TAKE GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL.

THEY DIDN'T DO A BAD JOB. THEY DID A PRETTY DECENT JOB. THEY DID A GOOD JOB.
