 + -1 moreThey are always quick with their repairs. He replaced a bearing and the machine works like new. It's still cheaper to get vacuums fixed if you can find a nice place like this shop to do the work for you.
Description of Work: I took my carpet steam cleaner there for repair because the brushes weren't turning.

 + -1 moreHoover Steam Vac - brushes had stopped turning. Phone call to Mequon Vacuum Cleaner Center - person I talked to said this happens a lot with these, and is almost always an easy fix - greasing only, no parts needed. I took it in, was told it might be up to a week - no problem. THE NEXT DAY they called to say I could pick it up - it was ready. Was in-fact just a greasing needed. Cost - $30. Great job and friendly people.
Description of Work: Hoover Steam Vac - brushes no longer turn. They were able service (involved greasing bearings?), works great.

 + -1 moreI brought it in thinking that there was nothing that could be done for it, and I got a call from Duane 3 days later saying it was ready to go, and the cost was under $40.00. I couldn't believe it! He also went on to say what a great machine it was and recommended ways to prolong its life. I would recommend them to everyone!

 + -1 moreMequon Vacuum Center finished the job quickly, in one morning, came at the appointed time, and left my basement spotless. The central vacuum system works every bit as well as it did before the relocation of the piping.
Description of Work: I hired Mequon Vacuum Center to relocate plastic piping for our central vacuum system to make room for an expansion of our HVAC ductwork.

 + -1 moreBEFORE I MADE MY PURCHASE, THE WOMAN LET ME BRING HOME THE FLOOR MODEL TO TRY OUT, AND SHE ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS VERY THOROUGHLY. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH MY EXPERIENCE. I WAS TREATED WELL, I HAVE A VACUUM WITH WHICH I AM VERY HAPPY, AND I GOT MORE THAN A FAIR DEAL. IN THE PAST I HAVE USED MEQUON VACUUM FOR REPAIRS AND FOUND THEM EQUALLY FAIR AND PLEASANT.
Description of Work: I BOUGHT A VACUUM FROM MEQUON VACUUM THAT LISTED FOR $100 MORE THAN WHAT THEY CHARGED, AND AS I WAS LEAVING (HAD ALREADY MADE PURCHASE) THE WOMAN ADDED FREE BAGS AND AN EXTRA ATTACHMENT.

WHEN SHE WAS UNABLE TO QUICKLY GET THE PRICES, SHE DID NOT OFFER TO CALL WHEN SHE DID OBTAIN THEM, ETC. THEY HAVE A VARIETY OF GOOD BRANDS, BUT I COULDNT GET THE INFORMATION I NEEDED TO MAKE AN INTELLIGENT PURCHASE DECISION.
