Service was fantastic!

We had an issue with a light bulb becoming stuck in a high ceiling fixture. When we attempted to remove the burned-out bulb on our own, the whole fixture started coming loose. We were concerned that we were actually pulling out wiring, so we called Frank Gillitzer Electric for help.
I made three appointments with Frank Gillitzer Electric. For one, I arranged to have someone come out to the house to let them in. The electrician never showed. I called, they apologized, and I scheduled a second appointment. They didn't show for that one either. I called, they told me it was a scheduling problem, and I scheduled a third appointment.
Two electricians were sent out in two trucks to address the issue for us. One went up the ladder while the other held it in order to examine the socket and remove the light bulb. They replaced the bulb with one we provided while they were up there. To my knowledge, no repair was made to the fixture itself. We had two other fixtures with a similar issue - attempting to remove old light bulbs was caused the fixtures to come loose. The electricians looked at both fixtures and replaced both bulbs with bulbs we provided. All in all, the electricians were at the house for just under an hour.
We were charged $422 for this work. Because I had electrical work done at our grandmother's house the same week (by a different electrician), I felt that this was unreasonably high. At grandma's house, we had two switches replaced, as well as a short in the garage fixed. We were charged less than $100 for that work. To be charged $422 to change three light bulbs (to my knowledge, none of the sockets were fixed or replaced) seemed excessive to me. I called Frank Gillitzer Electric after receiving the bill, and they agreed that it was high and took $100 off for me. So I ended up paying a total of $322 for having three light bulbs changed. This was because two electricians were sent in two trucks - we had to pay for the time for both.
The quality of the work was good (they replaced the light bulbs and they work now), but due to the missed appointments and the extraordinarily high cost I will not be working with Frank Gillitzer Electric again.

I had a generator installed by Frank Gillitzer Electric. He is excellent. They are dependable. They are here now. I have been using them for a couple of months. They are top notch. Top notch, you can't go wrong with them. Everything is fine. They are very good. They cover a multitude of areas. We have done camera systems and surveillance systems and the generator is kind of a commercial one. Top notch things.

We have had no noticeable problems with the work they did. We were very pleased with the respect that they showed us. Everyone was very friendly. We had only a couple of quotes and they were the best we received. They left absolutely no mess. They really represented their company very professionally. They were right on time when they said they would be. This company offers unbeatable service.

This company was there whenever I called and I was impressed with the way that they handle their business. The work was done well and I really did not see any problems. The customer is always their top priority. I would recommend this company to anyone. They are great!

1) Mr. Gillitzer is a personable man. I met him because his young electrician could not figure out the wiring in this old home. He supervised and finished the job. However, they did not show up when expected. They failed to have the job ready for a scheduled inspection and did not even give the courtesy of a call. The estimate for the additional work in the nearby bedroom was unreasonably high. It took many, many calls by me and the contractor to get a lien waiver. 2) On the plumbing job he sent a bill for over $800.00 when the plumber said it would cost less than 1/2 as much. Mr. Gillitzer would not take my calls about this though his young receptionist was very kind. He finally issued a new realistic bill but it was handled unprofessionally.
