Truly a full-service company - we just had our 6th project completed by Closets by Design last week. Our installer, Jake, did a fantastic job, taking his time to make cut outs for the outlets. When the project was completed, he made a recommendation that we have a trim piece along the desk. Our house is over 100 years old and the floors and walls are uneven (especially in the corner where we had this desk placed). He discussed options, placed the order, and had another tech come out today (the next business day) to install the trim piece. It was the perfect finishing touch and we could not be happier with how this project turned out. We had intiially ordered a desk from a furniture company, but the shelf and drawer sizes were all wrong and some of the drawers didn't open all the way. Closets by Design gave us the option to purchase a truly custom desk.

The first reach-in closet had some problems, but they were rectified by the owner himself. Because of that great service we went on to add the other closet areas. Not only are the closets extremely practical & well-laid out, the installation was quick (with no mess left by the installers) and our sales person had terrific ideas to maximize our closet spaces.

In December of 2019, Closets by Design fully finished 2 master bedroom his & her closets and a walk-in pantry in our newly constructed home in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The final product is not only beautiful, but highly functional. Doug was able to design storage space for us that provided more efficient and functional use in smaller spaces than what he had in our previous home, which was extremely impressive. A key factor in choosing Closets by Design was their ability to provide custom size shelving for the pantry, which none of the other area or online vendors with whom we consulted could do. Doug and his team are very experienced professionals who are highly skilled with design and installation, as well as being experts with their own product line. The variety of different looks and finishes for the closets was vast, and they were able to easily match one of their options to the existing trim and floor in the master suite. Their willingness to travel a significant distance to my home was important to us, and we are nothing short of ecstatic with their professionalism, customer service, and quality of craftsmanship. Highly recommend.

We were not happy w/the 1st closet installed because it did not use all of the useable space. The company's owner, Doug Gauert, came to our house, agreed w/our assessment & drew up another plan. He was so helpful that we added built-ins to another closet in the room. The 2nd installation was perfect and we love the outcome. Would gladly hire and/or refer to this company.
