CHOICE CUTS TREE SVC

Received first consultation second week of June, had majority of work completed in early August (original date of July 20 was rained out). Good communication about rescheduling initially, and crew was very good when they actually were able to come out. However... Currently Sept 26th. There is still work to be done (removal of brush pile in rear, plus stump removal and dead tree removal in rear). Shane asked to be paid mid-August for work completed thus far. I obliged, as I know his crew worked hard and need the money. I paid him in full. He promised to finish the job, but he has not. I understand we had lots of rain in late August/early September, but we’ve had many days since with dry conditions. I sent him a text, which he didn’t respond to. A week later, I left a voicemail. Still no return call. I called today again (another week later), went to voicemail. Also waiting on an invoice for the work to file with my records.

Repeat customer.  Shane bid a fair price for the work and was very straightforward.  He called ahead to let us know when the work would be performed.  In one day the tree and stump were removed.  Crew was mindful not to damage surrounding trees and shrubs.

Shane and his crew did a fantastic job! When we met for the estimate, he took the time to answer my questions and suggest things that could be done as well as things that could wait, knowing we were trying to stick with a budget. He understood our priorities and his quote reflected that perfectly. When his crew came out to do the trimming and tree removal, they were on time and completely professional. Our yard looks so much better! And there were no surprises when it came time to pay-up. What we were quoted was what we paid. We'll continue to use Choice Cuts for future tree maintenance.

Shane responded promptly to my request for a quote. He asked what I wanted to accomplish with trimming and suggested alternative cuts to achieve my goals. Noticing the moss on the roof, he suggested trimming to minimze it in the future and recommended a contractor who is knowledgeable in removing moss. He suggested trimming three trees now and specified others for trimming in another year, saving me money.

Shane delivered a competitive quote in days and gave an approximate work-week.

Given the job, he arranged a day in January to fit my schedule so I could be present when the work was done. Icy rain that day required a mutual reschedule for two days later. No problem, I would be home. He and his crew of four arrived on time with all equipment. At my request, he brought his equipment to the trees on protective plywood. All crew members knew their jobs well and worked diligently, giving me choices along the way. They even inspected the top of another tree with their truck and fixed a dead branch on another tree at no charge. In two hours they were done, carefully cleaning up all wood and chipping it. They did a quality job! I and my wife were impressed with their professionalism. We are very satisfied.

What I liked the most is Shane's advice and choices to please us. His competitor, also an and quot;Aand quot; rated service, did not offer choices.
