I am obviously not happy with the adjustment but I'm not willing to fight any further about it. They have lost my business and any referrals I may have given them...I have referred business to them in the past....NEVER AGAIN.

Failed to fix a dripping faucet.  Their representative spent a few hours fiddling around trying to fix it but the faucet continued to drip.  He left our home to get tools/parts and apparently we were charged that time too.  We gave the plumber another faucet to use but opted not to replace it.  In the end he told us that he did his best.  Our faucet was made in China, like many plumbing fixtures are nowadays, and it was purchased from the US.  He recommended that we use a specific brand of faucets.  After our faucet continued dripping I ended up replacing it myself with another one instead.  When we received the invoice for $379.80 we contacted Halverson Bros Inc by phone and explained the situation to them repeatedly.  Although we were told that they would see into it, in the end they did not consider our claims, and kept adding finance charges every month instead of responding.  I even physically went to their office and talked in person with the person in charge of billing.  I was told that the subject will be addressed.  Even then, I received a new invoice with further finance charges.  My wife also went there physically to do the same thing.  The response was that he would "talk to the manager" because the manager was not available.  The result was the same.

They are in our neighborhood and we like to use local contractors. They were very helpful about showing us the best choices. They did a real good job. They got the job done over 3 days. They also pulled out the old oil furnace and tank. They sent 2-3 people out to do the job each day.

It was A+ through everything! They did an excellent job. After the workmen were done, the gentleman we talked to intially called us and wanted to know how well the service was. I thought that was excellent! They followed up right away. The gentlemen that were putting it in were very conscientious. I would recommend them highly to everybody.

They were upfront with me about pricing and work. They were there when they said they were gonna be there.

I discovered late in the day that the water line for the kitchen sink was leaking in the basement and as I tried to adjust the line, another leak formed. I Shut off the water to the house and searched Angie's List for companies in the area. Called Halverson Brothers and they set up an appointment for 8:00 am the following day. I had extra water already and did not need it through out the night. The repair person arrived right on time, was professional greeting then looked at what needed to be done. He explained what products he was going to use, if I needed the basement sink and what the process he was going to do to fix it. The job was done quickly and cleanly with the repair guy cleaning up afterwards. He made suggestions on what could be done in the future and stated that I could call the office to have someone come out for a full quote on replacing the water system and what products that could be used.
He was professional and easy about his answers when I asked questions without over talking the answers. No wasted time and seemed very organized.I would highly recommend this company and will use them in the future.

Terrible.

It was a free estimate. They got back to me within a week. I didn't choose them because of the price. I had used them in the beginning of the year and I was satisfied with their work. I think the pricing on all plumbing work is high. I ended up calling them for a bid because I was in a hurry to make a decision. The guy did deliver the bid the next day, but I hadn't received it. I had to wait for another 24 hours before I could get it. He actually missed an appointment by one day this time. I had set it up for Friday and he missed it. I had to reschedule it which was inconvenient. He missed the appointment time that he had agreed on which was annoying. He was professional. I would consider them for an estimate in the future.

They did a really great job. They came in very quickly and did the work very well. It was kind of a tricky project. It was overpriced in my opinion. It took them four hours. I don't know if I would use them again because of the price.

All went very well. Workers did a good job. When I had a small concern regarding the cost of labor, they were willing to adjust the labor charge to my satisfaction. The office staff and owners are always very courteous. Their prices are average, not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I don't like the idea of cut-rate work in my home, and Halvorson's always provides top-notch quality and service.
