It went very well.  The service change out took a long day.  It was accomplished in that one day.  The electricians didn't seem to know when they'd get to the heat tape/outlet part of the job.  That had actually been my first priority.  I contacted the company.  The owner himself came the next day and installed the outlet and heat tape.  I was very pleased with all the work and very pleased with the responsiveness.  I have used this company in the past when it was owned by the father of the current owner.  I would definitely use them again.  I was provided with a written estimate.  When they actually got on the job, a conference among the electricians doing the work and the owner resulted in a conclusion that they'd have to do a major move of some wires outside, and provide a new conduit/pipe for them on the outside of the house in order for the job to be up to code.  This was not in the estimate, and we were not charged for it.  They stayed with the estimate.
