We were referred to Wood Specialties from our builder, and were absolutely thrilled with the results. Brent is a fantastic designer, very personable and professional. I can't tell you how many compliments we've received on our kitchen cabinets - they're beautiful.
We're now in the process of re-hiring Wood Specialties to complete our lower level (designing and building cabinetry for our lower level bar area (including bar), bath vanity and linen, fireplace mantle, cabinet for play/exercise room, as well as provided trim and doors).
I'd HIGHLY recommend this company!

The quality of workmanship was below par for custom furniture. The drawers were not in alignment and the crown molding that was sent didn't match. They sent two different types of molding styles. The finish was spotty in quality and the nail holes were not filled in. When the finish was applied, the nail holes showed up as dark spots. I expect better from a custom woodworking shop.

The experience was very poor overall. Quality, craftsmanship, & overall customer service were sorely lacking. For example, all cabinets came with very poor quality wood drawer & door fronts, & all had to be replaced. A wine rack was built, but the openings they created for bottles wouldn't accept even the smallest wine bottle. Overall, delay after delay & very poor follow up along the way. Interiors of cabinets were chipped & not finished well.

THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME WE USED THIS COMPANY. WHEN WE BUILT OUR HOME 12 YEARS AGO, WOOD SPECIALTIES MADE ALL OF THE CABINETS AND SUPPLIED ALL OF THE OTHER WOODWORK. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORKMANSHIP AT THAT TIME, AND USED THEM AGAIN WHEN WE REMODELED OUR BASEMENT.
