SHADY LANE GREENHOUSES

Through 2-3 trips to the greenhouse, we were able to select a variety of shrubs, bushes, and perennials, and annuals to meet our needs. The staff at Shady Lane were very helpful throughout the process. This greenhouse was highly recommended through Angie's List, and we concur with those recommendations. We will go back again when we are tackling a different area of our yard.

This is a great place. The prices on their trees are reasonable and the quality of trees is good. They have a really cool model train set up that our daughter loves. The only downfall was their selection. They did not have a ton of different types of trees. They only had 1 oak tree in the whole place and none of a common type of crabapple we found everywhere else. Maybe they have a better selection of small plants?? Either way, if you can find what you are looking for, this is a great place. If you are looking for something that might be hard to find, look elsewhere.

When I stopped in spring on a very busy weekend I found the staff to be attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. I came for some annuals but left with hanging baskets, perennials, koi and annuals. At Christmas I returned to find the staff just as helpful. I bought a custom handmade wreath and a few and quot;packsettiaand quot; poinsettias. I had to make a few trips for the packsettias because I gave them out at packer parties. A great family owned business.

We have used Shady Lane in the past for our personal gardening needs. So when our school's PTA was looking for a donation of flowers for our annual Grandparent's Day, I went to Shady Lane, again. I spoke to Karl, who generously gave us what we requested. He was so nice and respectful, I enjoyed talking to him. I will certainly continue to use Shady Lane Greenhouses for my future gardening needs. Thanks, Karl!
